presentation of the 675 STREET TRIPLE 2014
identity crisis? Japanization? Rebellion against the history of its origins? The 675 Street Triple loses its outrageous plasticity in favor of efficiency. The under-seat mufflers have disappeared, replaced by a low-slung exhaust. Like it or not, technically it pays off. No less than 4 kilos lighter, and a lower center of gravity. That alone accounts for 2/3 of the Street Triple's weight reduction. The factory has taken off even more weight with a new rear loop, lightened rims and a revised frame. Total weight savings: 6 kilos.
let's take a closer look at that frame, because it's much more reworked than it looks. Still in aluminum, it has fewer parts and fewer welds. It's now lighter and stiffer, and the rake angle of its front drivetrain has been reduced from 24.3° to 24.1° (even more so on the R: 23.4°). Did you find the old Street lively? The new one will be even livelier.
wedged between the new radiator scoops, the 3-cylinder engine remains unchanged. Playful, powerful and frenzied, the engine has received nothing but praise to date. Its renewal will disappoint no one. The injection system has been revised, however, to make it more fuel-efficient.
Triumph has also fine-tuned a series of more or less important details. The 675 Street Triple gains new suspension, new brake discs with multi-mode disengageable ABS, a coded key, a bit of space under the hood, and a new brake disc.e key, a bit of space under the seat for a U, a dashboard enhanced with a fuel gauge, improved finish, new mirrors and a discreet modification to the base of the fuel tank.
with time and success, the 675 Street Triple has moved away from London's punk suburbs and into the City. We'll all be the judge of its looks, but we'll all give it more credit for its dynamism, agility and 3-legged charm.

you just have to accelerate and everything happens
downshift several gears to keep up, and even if you're turning, you can't see anyone. Rating : 5/5 Respond to EDDY
And yet I've been driving a Honda (very good) for years (85,000kms) and I wanted to get a taste of the Europeans, and I don't regret my choice.
