presentation of the 900 STREET CUP 2017

Triumph's Classics range is growing with conviction, starting with a quiet 900 Street Twin and ending with a vigorous 1200 Trhuxton R. The Street Twin wouldn't mind a bit of a challenge. Or even a little desire for a challenge between gentlemen of good family. And that's a job for a sparkling Street Cup. A little machine with a big look that really wants to get noticed.

Its two-tone colors immediately catch the eye. Impossible to remain impassive. As for the rider, he'll immediately feel the difference with the Street Twin.
The riding position has evolved to become more sporty. With footpegs set back, borrowed from the sportiest Classics, ACE handlebars that bring the noggins lower and further forward, and a pair of longer amortos raising the rear, the gentleman rider will be set up to enjoy a more incisive ride. A revised braking system should finely enhance its quality, while the new-generation 900 engine is carried over without any notable change - except for its exhales, via new, shorter and lighter exhausts, covered in satin black. Remember that this block has inherited liquid cooling and ride-by-wire. Rated at 55 hp, the parallel twin takes a machine weighing 200 kilos. It's much more lively and less fuel-hungry than the old 865 cm3 mill. For the European market, the Street Cup can be downgraded to an A2 version.

As far as electronics are concerned, fans of vintage or vintage-type motorcycles will still be surprised to see ABS, traction control, a USB socket and an assisted clutch on the specification sheet. Not to mention optional cruise control and heated grips.

Closely derived from the Street Twin, this provocative urban café racer boasts a number of distinctive features: a "café racer" seat with Alcantara-effect top panel and contrasting silver-colored stitching, a body-colored "café racer" seat backrest with decorative numbers and easy removal, a body-colored windshield, a set of handlebar-tip mirrors with forged stems, polished stainless-steel speedo dials, in homage to the Thruxton, Thruxton 1200 R footpegs, Thruxton-style forged headlight mounts with painted casing and dial, sporty-looking fork protectors, replacing the classic Street Twin fork gaiters, and black-shell turn signals.
The finish is flattering: hand-applied piping on the fuel tank, painted rim piping, gold engine badges and exclusive Triumph decals and tank badges.
Customization enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that over 120 accessories are available to further enhance the Street Cup.

Recall campaign:
In March 2019, Triumph launched a major recall campaign for its Bonnevilles and Street models manufactured between August 11, 2015 and January 13, 2019.

This includes the Bonneville T100, T120, Street Twin, Street Cup and Street Scrambler (68,686 bikes worldwide), which have been asked to stop by the dealership due to a problem with a "clutch cable that could come into contact with and damage the wiring of the main harness", with the risk of lighting and blinker malfunction and loss of power.

French ticor Model 2019
the street cup's shortcomings: shitty original tires in the wet, whereas in the dry it's nickel, brakes lacking bite and feel, saddle not ideal for passenger, so I took a t100 saddle for 2-up riding.the qualities super beautiful ,well finished ,engine super compared to the limitation a max of torque at the bottom ,fuel consumption 3.8l for me ,very comfortable but I changed the handlebars by the street twin because problem of wrist broken 3 times later ,ideal for people not too tall I'm 1m66 and I have flat feet ,super easy to transform many parts of the range neo classic are interchangeable ,street twin strambler,t100 t120 .in addition to my street cup, I have a 900 tracer for travel, and the street is my 50th bike. Rating : 4/5
