presentation of the SCRAMBLER 2015
This model was released for the 2015/2016 lineup. Only 20 units were produced, making it a true collector's item.
With the SCRAMBLER trend now present across many brands, Ural presents its take on the concept here.
It is a modified version of the Ural Ranger, which allows it to engage the second drive wheel for off-road riding. Weight has also been reduced, which is why it does not have a spare tire. With off-road use in mind, the tires and exhaust positions have been adapted for this purpose. It is also equipped with fog lights and a crossbar on the handlebars. This last detail allows for the attachment of devices such as GPS units, cameras, etc.
It should be noted that the SCRAMBLER phenomenon should not be seen as a fad but rather as a return to the roots. Indeed, when the first motorcycles were manufactured, roads were not yet what we know today and were more like dirt tracks than long stretches of asphalt. It therefore makes sense that our ancestors adapted their vehicles to these conditions.
And yes! This “trend” hasn’t invented anything! And this version of the Ural Scrambler, having been specially designed to venture off the beaten path, seems to be very close to what a true scrambler—in the strictest sense of the word—could be.
