Motorcycle specifications Victory (USA)1700 GUNNER 2017 Pull out the gun

presentation of the 1700 GUNNER 2017
tourer, bagger, custom, cruiser... The Victory range seemed almost complete, offering Americans the essentials of their mechanical needs. This Gunner has now entered another field: the bobber. With its stripped-down, minimalist styling, pure lines, single-seat design and total absence of passenger amenities, the Gunner is an authentic selfish motorcycle.
it's a Victory, and like all members of the family, the Gunner is powered by the big 106 ci Freedom twin. 2 cylinders beating in 1731 cm3 of metal, sending just over 90 hp through the 6-speed gearbox and over 14 mkg to digest.
Equipped with 24-spoke rims, the Victory Gunner continues its styling with a two-tone tank, 16-inch tires that are wide at the front (130 mm) and not too wide at the rear (140 mm), a few well-placed touches of black (fork covers, headlight housings, exhaust line, etc. ....), a front mudguard reduced to its simplest expression, and a strong desire for customization.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 8 reviews
Having given up 2-wheelers some twenty years ago, I was rekindled by a passion triggered by old friends who came to taunt me with their new bikes. So I had to react! Quick thinking followed by motivated action propelled me from store to store.
It wasn't easy to find a nice bike with a real face, that pushed and made a nice noise … No question of going back to the yellow ones, abandoned 25 years ago in favor of Moto Guzzi (quite a story)
Really by Hazard, I walked through the door of a VICTORY dealership …
I fell in love with the machines and was greeted with a warm welcome (I felt like I was meeting up with guys I'd met in old Eastern European hubs or on the Isle of Man, and memories were firmly anchored in my mind)
The choice was quickly made. On the good advice of the owner, the bike was prepared slightly. Turn signals reduced to maximum, the plate on the side, the exhaust pipe with decibels in and the cattle on the bitumen… the model chosen was the GUNNER, just arrived from the US.
The 5-year warranty and the first 800 km visit are free. What's more, when you come to the garage. The boss offers you the chance to try out a machine of your choice. Hyper Top service. You feel like you're visiting friends.
So back to the beast
Surprisingly easy to handle. Despite the machine's 300kg weight, it's non-existent.
Footrests and handlebars give you a great position.
The control panel is basic, simple and efficient. You've got all the essentials.
The 1700 cm3 engine delivers power and torque in a very pleasant package. The noise produced by the 2 pots is harmonious and turns heads. You're back in 3rd gear at 1200 rpm with no worries. The 6th gear, described as overdrive, is in fact a real gear. It provides real comfort and contributes to very low fuel consumption.
The frame is ultra-secure, allowing you to take very precise trajectories. The fork is efficient. The downside is the ground clearance, because it's true that I exaggerate in curves, but the footpegs quickly touch. Otherwise, the sensations are there. The machine is a real pleasure to ride and very safe. Riding on small, winding roads is a real pleasure. And if you twist your wrist, the machine will propel you to 190 in less time.
The single front disc is more than compensated for by the double rear disc, and the original abs are very efficient. The original tires are very good.
Not made for the long haul, despite a bird's appetite. I don't think this machine has any competition in this style to date.
Truly a superb bike. Marketed by a superb team. ( HIGHWAY CUSTON 77. PONTAULT)
