Motorcycle description sheet ApriliaSX 125 2025 Game start
supermotard bikes are successful in competition, or in the 50 class, or even with big watts like Ducati or KTM. But in the realm of the 125, very few machines are brandishing the banner. It's a good thing that Aprilia is perpetuating the existence of its SX 125 to offer Supermot' to young enthusiasts.
as well as adopting the engine to the Euro5+ dogma, the Noale-based company has decided to give it a facelift. The headlight and nameplate are tighter and more serious. The shoulders have been redesigned with a more vertical orientation, more present, less protruding; one could almost guess a hint of Dorsoduro, the brand's former big SM. The exhaust silencer is more compact and black, with a triangular rear section. The SX 125 seems to have matured.
as for the instrumentation, the change is very flattering. The small monochromatic LCD display has given way to a multicolored window with warm, enthusiastic accents. Nothing is missing: speed, engine rpm with color gradation, gear engaged, temperature gauge, clock, top speed, riding info, double trip, fuel consumption.... or almost; it's a shame Aprilia didn't install a fuel gauge.
this neat-looking motorcycle is not designed to impress, but to offer its rider sport. Around its steel frame, the bike boasts high suspension travels (240 - 220 mm) to cope with a variety of bumps and bumps. Aprilia has placed the emphasis on technology, with ABS as standard and anti-lift function for the rear wheel. A first in the category, implemented in 2018. This kind of steering assistance is only found on much larger-displacement machines.
you'll be able to brake hard and take a piggyback ride, pushing the bike into a muscular ride to get the best out of it via its chassis. The powerplant will be more measured. The 125 cm3, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine is as clean as it is modern, but can expect no more than the 15 hp allowed by law. Enough to have a laugh, but not enough to do anything heavy. The standard hasn't deprived it of power, but now you have to look for watts and maximum torque at 500 rpm.
the SX and its off-road cousin, the RX, share the same engine and chassis structure. To be efficient on its playground, the SX features 17-inch spoked wheels, sport tires and a larger front brake disc (300 mm). A USB socket is available as an option, as are machined aluminum parts, a clothing line, goggles and a few fashion accessories.
