presentation of the F 800 GS Trophy 2012
with little inclination to get bored on the road and a clear willingness to play with rocks, the F 800 GS has everything it takes to make you want to go on a raid. A desert silhouette, big wheels, generous suspension travel, a lively 85-hp twin (that's 70% more power than the legendary R 80 GS, the line's initiator), a tubular trellis frame... it's all there to tempt adventure. And, as always, there are those who want more.
Special series are also created for them. For 2012, BMW presents the 800 GS in a Trophy edition. The trail bike comes in a snowy white with a striking ice blue (the real name is Alpine white/Desert blue). Equipment is enhanced by an aluminum engine cowling, handgrip protectors, a two-tone black and grey seat, and a number of special decals. Available in autumn at a small extra charge.
