The BM trail bike has been around for over 25 years, and benefits from the same high standards as the rest of the Bavarian manufacturer's range. Technology, standing and other refinements are the hallmarks of the propeller-driven brand, and are also to be found on this 850 GS. until you read the sticker on the fuel tank. Of course, the twin has lost some muscle as it has shrunk to 848 cm3. But fortunately, it retains a nice suppleness (thanks to fuel injection) and vigor. The chassis is beyond reproach. The Telelever's anti-dive action makes for efficient, reassuring riding, while the Paralever with integrated cardan shaft erases the shortcomings of this type of transmission. You'll want to play with this BM, but you won't want to venture out onto the trails. The bike prefers the secondary network, where it's at its best. The desire to carve up the road gradually takes hold of the rider. Even so, he'll have to limit motorway travel, as the protection is just right. It's not enough to look like your big sister, as it's the big sister that's in the public eye.
