Motorcycle specifications Brough SuperiorAnniversary Golden Dream 2023 A Night's Dream in Nottingham

Digging into its past, Brough found a machine with an aborted destiny: the Golden Dream. An innovative project with a 4-cylinder H-engine. The machine would have had an exceptional purpose, then as now.
All is not lost, however, as the name reappears on a special Anniversary series.
This model is already a very luxurious interpretation of the motorcycle. Brough Superior goes even further, as the Golden Dream's trim elements are decorated with gold leaf. Art-deco motifs line the tank, the stern and the mudguard, in the spirit of grandeur that Georges infused into his bikes, while a golden spoiler at the front leads the way, like the Spirit of Ecstasy from a certain other English brand.
The precious material is also used for the edgings running along the silhouette, cladding the chin of the lighthouse, and honoring the patronymic of this creation. The Golden Dream also makes a strong impression with its full rear rim and car-corail long exhausts, finished off with Fishtail-style end caps.
Yves Saint-Laurent wouldn't have imagined it any other way.
The Golden Dream engine of the interwar period resembled a double Boxer, one on top of the other. Between the arrangement of the cylinders and the gears, this mechanism alone represented a moment of prestige. The Anniversary, which pays tribute to it, doesn't feature this kind of block, but the v-twin common to all models. This block, developed by Akira technologies, is fully visible under the almost invisible titanium frame, and delivers 102 hp and 8.9 mkg.
Like the Salt Racer Karslake and Lawrence Nefud, this Brough will be produced in a limited series. 38 examples, in reference to the year 1938 when the Golden Dream was created and presented at the London Motor Show. This edition costs barely more than theAnniversary from which it derives. But both already demand the price of a small apartment.
