presentation of the Dagger S 2026

The Dagger has decided to break away even further from the Lawrence, its predecessor, and take on a slightly sportier character. In its own way, this S version takes on the café racer style—but with the Brough Superior philosophy: a sense of nobility and gentlemanly riding that’s a far cry from established conventions.

The rider dresses in Prada

At any rate, he should. No matter which Brough model you’re riding, you approach it with quiet reverence and in smart attire. For the Dagger S, that means a bit more adrenaline in your eyes and on your wrists. Ergonomics is one of the main differences from the standard model. The rider grips a handlebar that’s positioned further forward and lower, allowing for greater load on the (superb) Fior-style aluminum fork—machined from a solid block—for greater precision and dynamism. You grab this Dagger S to turn it into a dagger of the road.

A few design touches have been added to give it a more masculine look. The Toulouse factory has installed sleeker fairing panels, moved the mirrors to the ends of the handlebars, painted the entire exhaust system black, and applied a more dynamic pattern to the fuel tank. This imposing and sculptural carbon fiber piece is adorned with honeycomb patterns along its entire central rib.

Technically, this S model features no changes to the engine or chassis. The twin-cylinder engine—a masterpiece of craftsmanship in which the components are also machined from solid blocks—is a delight to behold, even before you unleash its 102 chevaux. It’s mounted in a minimalist titanium frame, which does its utmost to take a back seat and let the various components take center stage. The Brough Superior Dagger S, like the rest of the lineup, is all about machined parts, carbon fiber, high precision, and exquisite craftsmanship.

A Blade of Luxury

Some watches are more expensive than this motorcycle. But they can’t give you the thrill of a French machine in motion or the feel of the brakes in your arms when you grip its 320-mm discs clamped by 4-piston calipers.
Exclusive in more ways than one, the Dagger is nonetheless one of the most accessible models in the lineup. Surprising to point that out for a bike that costs 73,000 balles? It’s the theory of relativity: it’s five times the price most affluent riders are willing to pay for a new motorcycle, but at Brough, the top-of-the-line model—the Richard Mille RMB01—costs as much as a house.

French Model 2026
A truly beautiful work of art, but of course the price is extremely prohibitive for the average motorcyclist. Rating : 4/5
French Model 2026
It’s actually pretty nice. For the price, though, I’d still ask for a toothed belt (the older models had a shaft drive, then switched to a belt), a real two-up seat designed to improve riding position and comfort, and a little more chrome. As for the rest, you’d also expect a bit more torque than those measly 8.90 mkg—barely more than a Guzzi V7, which is just as sexy and nine times cheaper... Rating : 3/5
