Motorcycle specifications Brough SuperiorLawrence 2023 Destinies through time

" Your name will one day be common to everyone! "So exclaimed General Allenby to his subordinate, Thomas Edward Lawrence. The future would prove him right. But what he didn't yet see was that, beyond his legendary military epic, this desert lover would become the most formidable ambassador for the Brough Superior brand. Until today, when the legend reaches its apogee with a motorcycle entirely dedicated to his name: the Lawrence.
Brough owed him a debt of gratitude. Over time, the two names have become intimately linked. It's impossible to talk about one without mentioning the other. But unlike the " Bert leVack ", which is a limited edition of the S.S. 100, the Lawrence is a motorcycle in its own right. With its own chassis, silhouette, identity and desires.
Once again, Thierry Henriette's workshop unveils a superb machine. A motorcycle sculpted from metal, designed by the heart as well as the guts. Beauty is only a stage, function eclipses anecdote.... The Lawrence is above such precepts.
Its carbon tank alone is a moment of grace. As wide as a big American cruiser, it's highlighted by surprisingly expressive ridges. It's a fine piece of engineering, set against a wide handlebar with open-work branches. Arms wide enough to hug the road. Sandwiched between the aluminum cuffs, the big speedo seems to have the strength and aplomb of a starship captain.
The Lawrence is powered by the 88° twin common to the entire range. Developing just over 100 horsepower, it has been designed for the pleasure of the eyes and senses, with that touch of refinement similar to English production (but it's French). The level of finish, the polished parts, the polished exuberance of the mechanics only serve to whet the appetite.
At the heart of the bike is the engine. The Brough brand takes care to make its frame both discreet and particularly noble; it's made entirely of titanium. The Lawrence's Fior-type fork is unique to this model, forsaking the ethereal, open-work suspension of other models. It's machined from a single piece of aluminum, including the brake caliper mounts. Beringer calipers will be responsible for biting 320 mm discs.
The fork, swingarm, forged rims, footpegs, connecting rods and other parts are CNC machined from aluminum. The mudguards are made of carbon. Presenting itself as one of the world's most luxurious motorcycles, the Brough Superior Lawrence is armored with noble materials. The only bits of plastic you'll find on it are the connectors and the sheathing for the electrical wires.
This is a prestige motorcycle. As is customary, it will be produced in a limited series of 188 units. The number refers to T.E. Lawrence's year of birth, 1888.
The problem is the price. The slightest scratch will have the same effect as a severe kick in the wrong place. A very relative problem, however. Brough Superior models are, and always have been, destined for an elite clientele. Who aren't afraid to spend the equivalent of a Panigale V4 SP and a K 1600 GTLon a bike of this pedigree.
The Lawrence is also available in a limited Nefud series, more of a scambler, with the scent of desert on its skin.
