a Buell is one hell of a bike - and the XB-12 is one hell of a Buell. It's like a McDonald's Best of menu, with different sizes and a choice of fries or potatoes.
There's the R, the S, then the Ss, the X Ulysses, and now the Scg; a real little family. The latest model won't surprise you at first glance, and differs from its siblings only in its more... chunky philosophy.

engine , trim, options, power, weight - nothing changes compared to the standard S. As for the chassis, that's where we start to wonder. Seat height lowered from 765 to 726 mm (- 39), ground clearance reduced by 20 mm, inverted fork a tad thinner, and suspension travel in freefall: - 46 mm at the front, - 39 mm at the rear.
The result: more confidence for the rider at low speeds, a lower center of gravity, a machine more accessible to medium-sized riders, and the look of a little rascal ready to kick and claw through the asphalt. After that, it's up to the spicy temperament of the reworked H-D engine to get things moving. Channeled by a diabolical chassis with subtle technical refinements, the XB-12 Scg should provide a fine dose of pleasure.
With the XB-12 S, you now have a choice between the friendly devil ( Ss ), the powdery troublemaker ( S ) and the virulent courtly ( Scg ).

Hello I had an xb12 ss last year but unfortunately I had an accident. I'm looking for a 2008 scg but I'm afraid it's too low. Is the difference huge (in inches)?
