presentation of the 125 ROADSTER 2001

its design and vocation make it more suitable for utilitarian use, but Cagiva has given it a little magic powder to make its face more endearing - Italian tradition beckons. With its V-max look (thanks mainly to the fake air scoops), the roadster looks much meaner than it is. With its old-fashioned 2-stroke single, the machine is easy and comfortable to ride in town - but will be outdated once you leave the urban environment. The engine is lively and friendly, but suffers from considerable vibrations and unreliability. Roadholding is sound as long as you don't push it too hard - but you won't want to. equipped with a luggage rack, a two-seat saddle and a relevant dashboard, the Roadster is useful without being sad.

Certificat de conformité cagiva roadster 125
French Hdxcagiva Model 1995
How do I find a certificate of conformity for a never-registered Cagiva 125 roadster?
Wait until it's a collector's vehicle?
How can I find out the vintage, as the invoice has been lost and there is no registration?
Sincerely

Hello, I disassembled the magnetic steering wheel and had a problem with a bolt that was unscrewed. I used oktite to tighten the nut and since then I've started the bike, put it in gear and it goes in reverse Rating : 2/5

A real 125 2-stroke!
Owner of this little roadster between 2 big cubes from 96 to 97, really good memories. 110 on the specification sheet? but a little 140 on the flat without wind. being wise 90/100 5.5 l/100, but up to a good 8 L if frequent relaunching and relief like Verdon. Reliable and easy to maintain, a top second-hand model for those looking for something other than Japanese :)

Hello, like you, I still enjoy riding this bike in Burgundy, slightly customized by the previous owner in 1994. I bought it from him then, because I completely fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Still very few kilometers covered, with less than 15,000 on the odometer. Admittedly, it does consume a little when I ask it to rev, but a carefree 130 and a sound that in the lower gears is a bit like a lawnmower, but as soon as the speed reaches 80-90 see, it's simply a joy to ride
YES, and what a pleasure it is with a bit of sunshine...

It's been four months since I became the proud owner of this very nice little bike, despite everything I've read about it on the net..
It's my first bike, so I obviously can't compare it to earlier models, but after trying out several 125cm3 models, I have to admit that this one suits me well. Firstly, because of its "relatively voluminous" size and good "relatively wide" tires for a 125 (unlike competing brands), then the riding position is very pleasant and allows you to ride without straining your back (I've heard that the passenger position is just as good, especially with the top case behind). And the look of course! a little "old school" roadster with simple lines
It's a pity there's no storage space for an anti-theft device, filling up the oil tank is rather laborious (the reservoir isn't very accessible), and vibrations above 100-110 km/h are, admittedly, quite substantial... But it's also important to put the use of this bike in context: a 125 isn't designed for speed or to feel the power of the machine ... (which is why the big cube license may be coming soon!!)

All in all, a superb little bike to get started and enjoy the joys of motorcycling (which I didn't know at all) ... I'm won over.

hello
i bought a roadster in 96 for 900 euros when i wanted to buy a trail, nothing to see for sure! but when i saw it i liked it i sat my 90 kg on it and my 1 m 82 i said to myself between us it can stick
it's been 1 day since the little one's been home this morning i did my 1st outing not far it's true 2 or 3 km!! my faith without having pushed it 85 in 4th on a zi, also saying that my last 125 was in 88 i found it quite nervous and pleasant for the riding position on the other hand to fill up with oil there's no visual control or i didn't see it! the noise is 2-stroke but I find it quite noisy anyway and the exhaust outlets are 3/4 blocked by an oval with a nut I'd like to see inside. on the other hand I'll probably review the brake linings I consulted various sites at best there are only pads!!!! if someone could help me with this it would be nice because I don't think the parts are to be found everywhere there's motoland not far away but I'd go and they'd probably tell me: "you know, you'll have to order and it'll take a long time". in short, I'm happy anyway and I can't wait to do a real ride and go to the Picardy coast and I say "long live the 125" and that there's more to life than speed.and that even if this machine looks a bit pale for its equipment and simplistic engine, I find it attractive, and I've managed to buy a very clean bike for a small price, because if I'd really opted for a trail bike based on what I've seen, I'd have needed at least 400 euros more to get something I could ride, and even then.

the roadster was my 1st motorcycle and not the least, apart from a spy joint in the gearbox I have had no problems whatsoever, daily use like going to the sea,180 km,or to the mountains,an endearing motorcycle with the sound of a saucepan.an idyllic road until the tragedy, stolen and burnt 10 km further on,I opted for the higher displacement,a japanese 250 which has the same qualities but in 4 strokes Rating : 5/5

i bought my used cagiva roadster a year ago for 1000 euros with 9000 km... my first motorcycle, and to learn I can say that I am not disappointed ...
the engine's peppy except at low revs (two-stroke) and is enough to give you pleasure when you start out on two wheels
the look is nice and rather flattering for a small 125, even the real bikers salute me!

33000 km and apart from a problem with the rear hub 4 years ago, no engine or frame problems!
I use this machine every day despite a big cube, but I can't stop listening to this "motor bike"! I love its lawnmower sound, those little acceleration blips in 3rd gear and it revs up high! no, it's pleasant even if you have to give it back on the freeway!!! and the fuel consumption is very reasonable at 8l/100 on the freeway at 110-120 and even a nice 140 once!!!
i like it, except that I'd like to find a luggage rack and a top case... if anyone has any?

no problem to report, it goes up to 120kmh, I put a 28 carb instead of a 24, good pick up for cruising, no worries in town or on the road, no noise and no vibrations so far, nothing, max 200km on a full tank
Rating : 5/5
good, reliable machine, despite what people say, provided you change the segments regularly (for me, every 15,000 km). I've done 38,000 km with it (1994 model) and it's still running. noises and vibrations in the gearbox due to premature wear of the pinion between the clutch and the balancer, but it's solid (cz gearbox).did some long rides with it: from 50 to 56 for the madonne des motards then to moirmoutier in the 85 .but then hello consumption not less than 10 liters per 100 on the highway squeezing the buttocks to pass trucks because 110 kmh max.good machine nice for small budgets Rating : 5/5
former owner of a 1994 model cagiva roadster, now upgraded to larger cylinders.i still look back on my old machine with nostalgia.i rode it 38,000 km
certainly not very powerful.reliability correct despite what they say (segments changed every 15,000 km) noisy vibrations in the gearbox at 40,000 km due to wear of the pinion between the clutch and the balance beam.made long trips with it. from 50 to 56 for the madonne des motards and in the crowd noirmoutier in 85.but then hello consumption: not less than 10 liters to the 100 in etand in the taquet on the freeway by tightening the buttocks to overtake the trucks in the descents. but nevertheless a good machine to have fun for not expensive
