presentation of the Hipster 300 2018
As the Hipster episode seemed destined to be seen by many, FB Mondial decided to revive the higher-displacement model. Initiated in 125, the classy little roadster was also covered in 250. Did this HPS from above fail to convince? Or do we have to go to 300 to get into the news?
Or is it simply a name change? Because the single-cylinder engine still displaces 249 cm3. Or perhaps Mondial wanted to take advantage of a new technology... The quarter-liter engine was announced with a single ACT. The HPS 300 specification sheet mentions two. As for the source of the powertrain, it's a safe bet that an Asian supplier will have opened up his catalog, where 250 /300s abound. Once we've put this search for identity aside, we'll be able to take full advantage of the clear increase in power available. With this chunkier single, the Hipster produces 25 horsepower. A guarantee of comfort to quickly extricate yourself from a situation or prevent the engine from collapsing as soon as the going gets rough. Torque also benefits, almost doubling to 22 Nm. All to the good of this 130-kg featherweight.
With its good looks, poise and leathery feel, this machine is determined to make a name for itself in the neighborhoods where people talk. FB Mondial seems determined to make a name for itself, and why not regain some of its mid-twentieth-century fame. Not on racetracks, victories or performance, but with style. That's what the Hipster roadster is all about, and its neo-retro-bobo look looks set to win many a heart.

I'd like your opinion on the long term How is this little HPS 300? Does it hold the wheel and the highway well? No physical/mechanical problems? Does the passenger have a good seat? Does it easily reach 130km/h?
