could this be the wind of madness blowing through Milwaukee? In its gusts, ideas are blending and slipping in unceremoniously, shaking up the American manufacturer's design offices. Harley-Davidson is a very conservative company. So imagine the storm when someone wanted to install a liquid-cooled twin with double ACT and 4 valves per cylinder in a custom bike!
this mill is an upheaval for Harley. In fact, its name is none other than Revolution. The manufacturer entrusted its Superbike mechanics (yes, yes, it's true!) to Porsche to turn it into a production motorcycle engine. After the operation by the German engineers, the twin has little in common with either the compèt' engine or with any H-D mechanics. In the V-rod, this 1130 cm3 produces 115 hp, i.e. 50 hp more than the big 1450 Twin Cam (which equips virtually the entire range, from the Fat Boy to theElectra Glide, with the exception of the Sportster). A boiler that perfectly suits the aesthetics of this dragster-custom.
for that's how the V-rod defines itself. It's a machine with a distinctive, bubbling bloodline. But above all, it's a machine that can't leave you unmoved. Long, low and muscular, the machine makes its presence felt, and never misses an opportunity to flatter the eye - passers-by are quick to admire. i have 2 lights on my dial: a red one on the top right and an orange one on the top left (I think it's the oil one). who can give me the explanations of the lights on the dial?

i don't own a Vrod, but I do drive a Deluxe. On a Harley, an orange light indicates an engine fault, but a red light is not a good sign if the engine is running. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
Zero range, I ran out of gas in the countryside..... not cool except that the guy who helped me out was a quad byker and liked it so much he was even nicer
Otherwise a hell of a bike
A nice point for the gale force winds of the solid wheels, five-spoke wheels reactor from Harley (expensive but problems solved) and when you love you don't count
