presentation of the LiveWire 2015
The borborygms of a twin forged in sweat and steel; the "good vibrations"; the gasoline that seems to take its time to explode in the cylinders then overflow with torque at the slightest twist of the throttle. That's how a Harley is... until today. What will the fans of today, or of the future, think when they hear the sound of a turbine behind that LiveWire? The unthinkable, the ultimate culture shock, the projection into the 22nd century is here. This is the first electric Harley.
do you ever think you'll hear a "wwvviiouuuuu" instead of the famous "potato-potato"? This new Harley reveals one aspect of the brand's future. And with style. The LiveWire is a veritable sculpture, far removed from Milwaukee's technical codes. The impressive frame is beautifully crafted, the dashboard is digital and tablet-like, the low end is so huge you'd think it was borrowed from a V8, and the bow is minimalist. It's practically a prototype, except that it's going to be driven.
In a new way for MoCo enthusiasts. A glance at the technical data sheet reveals 74 horsepower and 7.5 mkg distributed by the electron-assisted boiler Hot acceleration: the LiveWire accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. Its top speed is around 150 km/h. As for range, you'll have to make do with 80 km.
harley takes great pride in the sound of its models, and has gone to great lengths to give its electric bikes an aural identity. According to the manufacturer, "it sounds like a fighter jet". How's that for an exhilarating experience? In any case, Harley awaits your feedback to pursue this unusual project. The LiveWire will not be offered for sale immediately, but will be available for trial. The American company is counting on feedback and testers' opinions to define its final policy on this machine.

It would have been less shocking if it had appeared under the Buell name (even if now defunct, it could have revived this section).
HD remains HD, but in electric, it will indeed be a shock.
After that, as long as it brings in money for the dealers and the brand... Rating : 2/5 Respond to Mouarf
