Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson 1745 ROAD GLIDE FLTRX 2018 Between the waves of the road
presentation of the 1745 ROAD GLIDE FLTRX 2018
Like the Street Glide, the Road Glide had not gone far, but longer. It was carried off to different toilets. Sometimes CVO Custom, sometimes Ultra, sometimes Special; the experiences are many. Today, she's tempted to return, with a horizon she'll be rediscovering. Its new propeller will make it vibrate, but in a different way: less down below, more in the action.
The Road Glide, without extension of its family name, has been around the Twin Cam 1450, and then nothing for almost 15 years. What an injustice when its cousins knew the 1584, 1690, and up to the Scream'in Eagle 1800. But no Harley model ever really disappears; and when it does come back, it's always to find a tasty new addition to the range. For the Road Glide, it's the M8 107 engine. It'll make you forget all about the old TC 88 in an instant. Far more powerful and torquey, with a larger displacement and 4 valves and 2 spark plugs per cylinder, this American twin also knows how to be quiet, with fewer vibrations at idle. The Tourer's muscle, always fat and ready to provide, gives it plenty of lift, aided by an inexhaustible thirst for the open road.

On the previous Road Glide, entertainment (apart from the engine and driving) was limited to a radio/CD player. Back to the future: the BOOM BOX 6.5 is installed on board. With 11 cm color screen, Bluetooth hands-free phone compatibility, USB and MP3 connection, GPS, radio, pilot/passenger intercom and 25 watts per channel.
Well, maybe it's time to ride now. The Road Glide is just waiting to glide languidly along. Why do you think it's called that?!
