Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1745 Softail Slim FLSL 2021 Slim fast &...

The slim received a serious update in 2018, with the same batch of evolutions as the entire Softail range. That year was a tactical one for this family, with major technical modifications, and the welcome of models that had to abandon the Dyna frame. A chapter of its own... Let's stay focused on the Slim. Virtually unchanged in terms of design, it has undergone a major facelift.
With the addition of the Milwaukee-Eight 1745 cm3 engine, the Slim makes a quantum leap in power and torque. More modern, more civilized, still Harley, the 4-valve-per-cylinder block gives the machine a much more present vigor. On the chassis side, everything is new. The deceptively Hardtail frame benefits from a new design, requiring fewer welds and parts. The result is weight and rigidity gains. Big time. In addition to a more dynamic ride and more efficient handling, the Slim boasts a weight reduction of 17 kilos. Impressive!
The new frame has also seen the migration of the rear suspension. The shock absorber duo under the engine has been replaced by a monoshock hidden under the seat. For the front, the double poppet valve fork has already proved its effectiveness on Touring models. It's sure to meet the expectations of Slim riders.
This Softail takes advantage of this evolution to add a few dark touches. On the spoked rims, fork and Hollywood handlebars. The Bobber look is all the more obvious.
