Motorcycle specifications Honda XLV 125 VARADERO TRAVEL EDITION 2007 Varadrouiller in Boxer
presentation of the XLV 125 VARADERO TRAVEL EDITION 2007
is it due to the '07 restyling, Euro 3 compliance, a sportier look, or the saturation of urban areas? What do we know and what does it matter? The fact remains that the new Varadero is an undeniable success, and is even taking a handsome slice of the 125 market cake.
the original spirit of the first Varadero (the 1000) was that of a good, big, on-road trail bike, designed to cut kilometers. Its little 125 sister has a more urban profile, but Honda hasn't cut off its adventurous wings, especially in this "Travel Edition" version. This is a specific version for France, developed in partnership with Boxer Design (the VB1, the SSR, the Suzuki SV 1000 special edition, the Hornet 600 Wakizashi, etc.).
The French workshops have grafted a 3-part brushed Titanium-textured lower fairing (2 sides and 1 boot) to the Varadero, as well as a 45 L top-case with floating system and a set of decals. Its size is more imposing, less 125, more roadworthy; in short, even more Varadero.
the few kilos it gains with its specific attributes will not be the joy of the 15-hp twin-cylinder. A robust, clean and willing machine, but increasingly unsuited to heavier 125s (the Varadero weighs almost as much as a 500). That said, you don't buy this XLV 125 to ride it like a CBR, even if a few extra horses are never too much.
