presentation of the NC 750 X 2020
Quietly carving out its success in Europe, the NC 750 X trail bike received a minor refresh in 2016. More than that, in fact. A few well-placed strokes of the pencil, some well-defined angles, a less "gentle" identity, and this all-purpose motorcycle takes on much more sex appeal. Just goes to show that a simple makeover can transform a person, without fundamentally changing them.
While the NC 750 X has become much more attractive, it retains virtually all the features of theold version. All of them? Well, not exactly.
Honda has taken care to improve certain points. Like the famous fuel tank, whose capacity has been increased by one liter, for a total of 22 litres. The windscreen has been raised by 70 mm, the front and rear headlights have been fitted with LED technology, and the front suspension is fitted with Showa forks with double-acting valves, while the rear shock absorber is equipped with preload adjustment. As on the 1200 Crosstourer, the DCT automatic gearbox version benefits from 3 sub-modes in the S map for enhanced responsiveness. More compact, the exhaust is lighter and should deliver a more pleasant sound.

Although its power is nice and sufficient for its profile, Honda seems to want to stick some safeguards on it. For example, the HSTC torque control. You never know, if the road becomes a skating rink... Two modes are available. Mode 2 is the default at start-up, to keep you on your toes; mode 1 gives you a little more freedom. Fortunately, if the system gets too much for you, a long press on the button deactivates it.

The dual-clutch gearbox is highly efficient, freeing the mind from this occupation to concentrate on the environment, increasing safety and visual pleasure! The 55 bhp that purr between 2 and 3,000 rpm encourage me to go for a ride, driving smoothly and comfortably for my wife, and without stress for the points on my license! The purchase, use and maintenance of this bike suit my modest income, combined with the legendary reliability of the HONDA brand. This bike certainly lives up to its name, NC for New Concept! Thank you, Japanese engineers, for giving us so much satisfaction!
I'm 53 years old, and I've been riding since I was 16. I'm 1m87 for 92kg, and my previous bike was a bmw r1200gs ;-) Bonne route à tous et à tous! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Pierrequiroule81
after a mt 09 i wanted to switch to a less crime-ridden and less expensive bike
A customer urged me to try this nc 750 dct. The test was conclusive I acquired the beautiful. nearly 9000km of happiness. the dct and the trunk tank are top. only defect the amorto rear too fair (less than that of the mt09). a large bubble + deflector, a top case, suitcases and rolls my hen
the low fuel consumption (3l5 approx.) and range of almost 400km are interesting
i often hear the term boite auto used, but it's not true: it's a double-clutch gearbox (like the cars) with the option of using it either
either manual (with mountain bike-type gates)
or semi-auto (still with gears), for example, to downshift earlier in the mountains
or full auto
personally, I use semi-auto in s1 mode (the d is too limiting), using the shift levers to change gear at around 4000 rpm or to downshift earlier before a sharp bend
what a pleasure not to have to concentrate on shifting gears, and to drive serenely!
i'll be keeping this bike for a long time Rating : 4/5 Respond to étonnante moto
Do you regret your choice, or is it a real improvement?
Thank you. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
too bad it's not styled (a bit too cushy) a restyling would be nice to motivate the youngsters..... With more fun colors.... Red or/and white from the cb500x....
Impression : quad bike mini... Rating : 1/5 Respond to motard paysan
And don't worry about the old man, one of my greatest pleasures is to drop the youngsters with my 55hp in the first bend ;) Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation
I'm looking for the technical manual that's supposed to come with the bike when you buy it new (2016 model)
Do you know where I can find it?
I need it in particular to change the time on the dashboard and try to understand how to change the display
Thank you in advance,

And yesterday I rode it from Bormes to Collobrieres
Non-stop bends for an hour
This bike is a real treat
Light and maneuverable, with a low center of gravity, it's easy to make one turn after another
I'm very happy with it
I used the DCT gearbox in S2 mode, which was very responsive
and the fact that you don't have to clutch allows you to hold the handlebars firmly
I was surprised when I was overtaking at 90 knots, so I put the throttle to the max, and it shifted down a gear, allowing me to overtake very quickly
I really recommend this bike

Thank you Rating : 5/5 Respond to zeff
Unfortunately, it's not available in A2 version, so you'll have to look at the CB 500X or Honda's roadster range.

i'm sorry to say that there's no 47.5hp bridle kit for the NCX 750, so I'll have to wait 2 years for my A2 license before I can ride it. In the meantime, I'll console myself with a Freewind 650 when I get - I hope - my A2, which I'm due to take shortly. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
