presentation of the CB 1100 RS Swiss Limited Edition 2018

Although the CB 1100 RS wasn't a great success despite its obvious qualities, it still made a good impression. Honda Switzerland is keeping up the good work with an openly café-risé special series. A nice paint job, a few accessories, and you're done...
Really? .... The work goes one step further.

the tank warms the eyes with its orange hue, like fruit ripened by a red sun. The milky stripes express an element of dynamism, confirmed by the handlebars. A new APE-style handlebar is positioned low, giving the rider a wristband-like posture.
The mirrors on the outside of the grips give a clear view of the road. But before jumping in, a quick look down reveals the rarity of this preparation. Only fans and connoisseurs will remember that only 30 examples will ever see the light of day.

don't be content with that, and take a look at the parts installed. Tiny front blinkers, footrest adapters, a rear mudguard cut to size, a license plate holder detached from the rear section, a special oil cap, and rear blinkers that double as stop lights. Some parts have been cut directly from the mass, in Honda's Swiss workshops.

the four-cylinder engine remains untouched. Its 1140 cm3 give it 89 hp and just over 9 mkg of torque. A big block with a smooth, considerate character, just like the Honda's grip. This Swiss Limited Edition should require a certain amount of discovery, with its different driving position. But it's not enough to make it a sporty machine. The engine is a joy to ride, but not a thrill-seeker, and the chassis is neutral and not really excited. In short, this special series will make you look a lot better, but there's no question of racing it.
