Motorcycle specifications Husqvarna701 Enduro 2016 The pleasure of fat Husqy

With its ability to adapt to urban environments as well as treacherous cross-country trails, the 701 Enduro reaches the pinnacle of versatility. With many years of Enduro World Championships under its belt and over a century of motorcycle expertise behind it, the 701 Enduro combines high performance with typically Swedish features, all in a stylish, modern design.
frame
the tubular trellis frame, renowned for its lightness, is made from high-quality chrome-molybdenum steel. It has been designed to guarantee ultra-precise handling and inspire complete confidence in the rider. Precisely calculated torsional rigidity and longitudinal flexibility provide valuable feedback to the rider.
polyamide rear frame and tank
the self-supporting rear section of the frame, housing a 13-liter fuel tank, is ideally positioned for ideal weight distribution. Weighing in at just 5.2 kg, this one-piece component is made of ultra-high-strength polyamide using the rotomolding process (a manufacturing process for thermoplastic materials).
aluminium swingarm
the gravity die-casting process eliminates the need for welds, resulting in an ultra-precise, ultra-light one-piece swingarm (3.9 kg).
wP suspension (front)
wP Performance Systems has designed a 4CS closed-cartridge fork specifically for the 701 Enduro. The four-chamber fork improves damping characteristics and is also lighter than a conventional upside-down fork. As with all WP 4CS forks, the selector settings can be quickly and easily changed via buttons at the top of the fork tubes.
wP suspension (rear)
wP Performance Systems' high-performance rear shock absorbers are fully adjustable for compression and rebound. Mounted on a linkage system with all-terrain geometry, they allow a rear wheel displacement of 275 mm and deliver incomparable off-road handling.
engine
the water-cooled, single-cylinder, single overhead camshaft engine benefits from the latest advances in design and electronics. With a phenomenal maximum power of 67 hp at 7,000 rpm and an equally impressive torque of 6.9 mkg at 6,500 rpm, this concentrate of technology has energy to spare.
cylinder head
the engine's particularly compact single overhead camshaft cylinder head houses 40mm hollow-stem steel intake valves weighing just 48g, and 34mm exhaust valves weighing 46.5g. Two spark plugs, each with independent ignition timing control, optimize combustion in the large-volume combustion chamber. The result is impeccable engine behavior and exceptional power delivery.
ride-by-wire technology
keihin's 46 mm-diameter electronic fuel injection system has no cable between throttle and throttle body. The throttle is electronically controlled by the Engine Management System (EMS). This constantly compares engine parameters with sensor data to adjust throttle opening accordingly and optimize throttle response.
the gearbox
the lightweight 6-speed gearbox is smooth and precise, offering unrivalled driving pleasure and comfort even in extreme situations.
engine mapping
the motorcycle offers a choice of three riding modes, selectable via a switch under the seat. Riders can opt for "Standard", "Flexible" or "Advanced" engine settings, depending on riding conditions and terrain.
wheels
black DID rims in high-strength aluminum alloy, combined with silver nuts, add an aggressive, modern look to the 701 Enduro. The 701 Enduro's off-road capabilities are underlined by its wheel sizes: 21" at the front and 18" at the rear.
brakes
the latest Bosch ABS technology is tuned for off-road conditions and combined with high-performance Brembo brakes: floating double-piston caliper and disc at the front, and single-piston caliper and disc at the rear (floating corrugated discs in both cases, diameters 300 and 240 mm respectively). Ideally positioned controls ensure perfect braking feel and proportioning in all situations.
anti-dribble clutch
the APTC (Adler Power Torque Control) anti-dribble clutch, produced by Adler, enables higher speeds on corner entry and exit by maximizing rear-wheel grip under hard acceleration. It also keeps the rear wheel stable by preventing it from rebounding during heavy braking before the chord point of a corner, ensuring optimum control and ideal glide in supermotard riding.
bodywork
the 701's bodywork is particularly innovative and ergonomic. It features an elongated seat (extending over the radiator scoops) and ribs designed to optimize grip in all conditions. And the wrap-around engine and frame allow the rider to feel at one with the machine and maintain complete control of the bike in all situations.
cNC-machined fork crowns
as with other main chassis components, the anodized, CNC-machined fork crownsas with other main chassis components, the anodized, CNC-machined fork crowns have a precisely calculated flexibility to allow the fork tubes to flex under stress. This gives the rider more feel when braking and on rough terrain.
magura hydraulic clutch
Experience a smooth, progressive clutch.
suitable for A2 license holders
thanks to A2 engine mapping designed to limit power to 30 kW, the 701 Enduro is perfectly suited to A2 license holders who aspire to be frequent travelers.
