presentation of the 1890 Roadmaster Limited 2024
To conquer America is to capture the hearts of its people and its roads. Indian (like Harley) applies a timeless, inescapable, undying recipe, with a huge engine and a muscular stance. Beneath a certain opulence, the new Roadmaster Limited puts its unmistakable claws on the road.
Why "certain"? Because the Limited doesn't go as far as theElite. On the latter, glitz and equipment were pushed to the limit. So, we take a softer look at this Tourer, finding it almost reasonable when it's far from it.
Let's forget the Elite, let's get back to where we belong, let's be concrete. In this definition, the Roadmaster is the most imposing of its family. What's more, it's the flagship of the manufacturer's entire range. A status as much as an aircraft carrier's build, with the biggest engine (not the most powerful) to be found in Springfield.
The twin Thunderstoke cube 1890 cm3, surrounded by metallic nobility and American roundness. Piston strokes so heavy, so deep, so patient... bring the crew to life. From its 116 cubic inches escape more than 17 mkg. Which inspires quiet, velvet-steel cruising when you're at the helm of a 403-kilo machine.
Since 2023, a new clutch has been fitted to reduce lever effort and make gearshifts more flexible, while a redesigned LED headlight has been added.

The very recent ClimaCommand seat is standard on this machine. Able to generate heat or cold, this seat is an ally and a comfort of choice for rider and passenger. What's more, each rider can set the cool or summer temperature independently and on 3 levels.
Indian has relocated some of the controls on the commodos in order to install a USB socket on the dashboard.

Between the chrome, the paintwork and the high-end positioning, the Roadmaster Limited maintains the desire for a road that's always enjoyable in cruising mode. Of course, this comes at a high price, as the weight is out of consideration and the bike can only live in the great outdoors.

Essentials
Maintenance
The rear-wheel suspension push rod may become deformed under load. This may cause jamming of the main-chassis wiring harness or damage to the coolant reservoir and the rear tyre. Moreover, the rear of the motorcycle may collapse under load, which may affect the vehicle's handling characteristics and increase the risk of an accident, leading to injuries.

But how beautiful she is! I'm not an Indian, though, because of the design in general: you're inspired to design the bike, and then you get to the panniers/top case (more like a travel trunk), and there you're less well inspired. It's almost like an "add-on", with less good taste
But I really like this Limited. Especially with this dress
Travelling in that must be a blast. I'm more and more attracted to it... even with its flaws. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Marcmarque
