Introducing the Indian Chieftain Dark Horse, a pure "black-out" Bagger that offers riders the ease of customization and all the driving pleasure and performance of Indian. A bagger with intrinsic charisma, the Chieftain Dark Horse is clad in matte black with a shimmer of chrome and a wealth of features never before seen on an American "bad-ass" V-Twin.
powered by a black version of the Thunder Stroke 111 engine and built on the same chassis and suspension as the Chieftain, the Dark Horse comes standard with a solo seat, a tinted electric windscreenlockable hard saddlebags, ABS, electronic cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system, AM/FM premium audio system, Bluetooth, smartphone connection and keyless ignition. 2017 sees the introduction of Indian's'Ride Command' multimedia package; alas, the Chieftain Dark Horse will not be entitled to it.
the essential attributes of the Dark Horse family are reunited. You'll find the iconic mudguards, fairing, tank and saddlebags in matte black, magnifying the iconic Indian Motorcycle cap. The fork, mirrors, grips, switches, indicators, console, engine, airbox cover, pedals, footrests and taillight surround are also blackened.
