Motorcycle specifications Indian1811 Vintage Dark Horse 2021 Black's past.

The latest incarnation of the Chief model, the Vintage takes a detour into the depths of styling. Its destiny joins that of many Indian models, as it is now available in a Black Horse version. A privateer vessel that absorbs light and pulses with buccaneer rhythm.
A Dark Horse is a moment with the night. A nocturnal ride without being taciturn. A mechanical eclipse coiled from the periphery to the intimacy of the bike. With vintage comes a hint of nostalgia.
So yes, there's black everywhere. You'd have guessed it from the name alone. Everything: forks, handlebars, trim, leather cases and saddle, exhaust system, mirrors, indicators, headlight cover, tank, engine, control levers... you name it. Even the tires.
Stop laughing ;-) There's no gag, nor is there any farting. It's just that the white-sided gumshoes of the Vintage have been replaced by conventional tires on the Dark Horse.
These dark models have a special feature. They're less expensive than the original model, but they're also less well equipped. Like a desire to get rid of what they deem superfluous. The Vintage Dark Horse says adios to the large windscreen, passenger seat, crashbars, additional headlights and 22 kilos.
Chrome has all but disappeared. Only the engine cooling fins show off a few shards of metal, thanks to a good bit of milling. Spoke rims don't really fit in with the Dark philosophy, so they've been ousted in favor of spoke rims.
Sculptural and a defender of American values, the engine offers an unflattering output (46 hp/liter), yet very up-to-date digital technology. Electronics include ABS, 3 driving modes (Tour - Standard - Sport), a Stop&Go system for the rear cylinder, cruise control, keyless start and tire pressure monitoring. Mechanical enthusiasts will be more interested in its superb metal curves and torque, reaching 15.3 mkg at just 2100 rpm.
The Vintage Dark Horse rider will travel alone, but not without luggage. The leather and fringed saddlebags, looking like Western relics, can hold 60 liters. Ideal for a no-frills raid across the highways, just with the bike and its principles.
Don't linger in the accessories department. You'll quickly get used to its stripped-down look.
