presentation of the VN 2000 Classic 2008
4 years after its first appearance, the VN 2000 has undergone some changes, but fortunately for us, it has retained its exceptional added value: its twin. Now renamed the VN 2000 Classic, this big custom still holds the record for the world's biggest production twin-cylinder, with a displacement of 2053 cm3. The main reason for the Classic name is the replacement of the headlamp unit. The hooded headlight inlaid with menacing eyes has been replaced by a classic shell headlight, giving it a much more conventional look. Other modifications include new buckhorn handlebars for an even more relaxed ride, a thicker, redesigned rear seat to enhance passenger comfort, and a new "buckhorn" steering wheel.the emblem engraved on the right-hand airbox cover, the original new speedometer dial, and the switch on top of the fuel tank. Superb and imposing, the big twin is now Euro 3 compliant, but has lost a little in history: with 94 hp and 16.9 mkg, the Moulbif has lost 9 horses and over 1 mkg in history. Still, there's plenty left in the right hand to enjoy.
