presentation of the VERSYS 650 TOURER 2019
A slightly more powerful engine, a spectacular facelift, and the spirit of versatility still palpable: this is the 650 Versys phase III. Kawasaki has applied itself to the task, bringing back into the spotlight a good little machine that had been somewhat overshadowed by its distinctive design. As the spring season gets underway, many riders are keen to add some weekend gear to their sparkling Versys. The greens have anticipated this, offering the Tourer edition.
it's not afraid to eat up the miles. So, if we're going far, we might as well pack clothes, bread and sausage. The crew can fit all this into the 28-liter suitcases, which are perfectly integrated and much more attractive than theold version's luggage compartments. The latter, however, were more spacious (35 liters at the time). But you can still fit a full-face helmet.
Protective bags are supplied, designed to fit inside suitcases and better protect belongings. Protection is reinforced at two points: the groin with a pair of handguards and the fuel tank with a gel adhesive. Practicality is rounded off by the one-key system, enabling a single key to be used for all on-board locks.
