More classic than classic? The Kawasaki Z 900 RS cultivates the image and history of the Z family, and more specifically that of the iconic Z1. An old-fashioned look over an enthusiastic 4-cylinder engine, a chassis that keeps up with the music, the right dose of electronics and obvious charm make this one of the best neo-retros on the market.

kawasaki Italy offers a little more with this special Z 900 RS Classic Edition. But it takes a keen eye to spot the differences. Let's start with the most subtle. The Kawasaki logo on the tank is replaced by a vintage model, barely different but enough to arouse the curiosity of connoisseurs. The stern features a chrome passenger handle, as on the Z1. Last but not least, the new SC Project "Testanera" exhaust system - a double conical-head silencer inspired by the 1972 model's design - is on display.

kawa could perhaps have pushed classicism to the point of installing spoked wheels... But Italian customers will get another bonus. This Classic Edition will be sold at the same price as the normal Z 900 RS. The Café version will also be entitled to this Classic kit. Until the end of September.
