sharing the same engine as the Duke II, this KTM is an authentic supermotard machine that's perfectly comfortable for everyday urban use, but also suitable for two-up riding, as it also features passenger footrests. the LC4 block gives off a few unpleasant vibrations, but is bursting with torque. If you're not careful, it systematically sends the machine wheeling every time you start up. Efficient but linear, the mill combines with a rigorous chassis to transform the road into a playground, making the KTM a real toy, equally at home in everyday use or on a weekend jaunt.

I've had my 2004 model 640 for 4 months now, and I still get the same feeling in the morning when I open the garage
Mounted on supercorsa tires, this bike sticks to the pavement, it vibrates, it bangs, but it's a real pleasure, with monstrous torque
In town, no one can match it

Djé Model 1998

In any case, KTM has understood everything. High-performance bikes with a devastating look (2005 model), an engine that's right on the money, both supple and responsive, perfect road handling, perfect city driving (take your sports bikes to the traffic lights, kids, because this machine will take you 200m). It's an engine that likes to stay on the revs; forget about under-revs, it coughs (unlike the Japanese...advantage or disadvantage?!), and after-sales service without too many problems. Personally, since I've been with KTM, I've never had any problems (unlike Arilia, for example)
Equally at home on small, winding country roads or on the open road, the only thing you'll regret is the original tires, which take too long to warm up for my taste (and when it's cold...it's slippery!)

A bike that lets you ride every day, have fun on twisty roads, and even try out circuit riding from time to time, without having to make expensive conversions: I'll never part with it!
