this 690 Duke R is all about the European Junior Cup. Now a track machine rather than a rambunctious toy, this roadster is directly derived from the Duke Track used by the young wolves of the 2012 EJC. The 2nd-generation Duke R wants the track, and its chassis is seasoned for it.

it smells like gunpowder. So the tubular steel frame, weighing just 9 kilos, gains a pair of crashbars and side guards to limit breakage in the event of a spill. Specific parts adorn the beast, such as the orange anodized fork crowns, the transparent airbox cover, the wheel axle end caps, the Powerparts stitched saddle and the Akrapovic exhaust.

the single-cylinder engine doesn't benefit from the Track version' s vitamin treatment (+9 hp). As a result, it now boasts 70 hp, the same as the standard 690 Duke + 2 extra barrels offered by the Akra pot. That's already impressive for this mechanical architecture, and quite enough for this 150 kg machine.
The superior potential comes from the suspension. More sophisticated, the fork and shock absorber offer more adjustment and 15 mm more travel. The bike's ground clearance is increased and the seat height raised.
Braking is made up of components ready for the bloodiest attacks: a Brembo M50 4-piston caliper and Bosch 9M+ ABS. So you can brake hard and have fun with an anti-lock braking system that knows all about the sport.
Here's a mono that's big and mean as can be. The problem is the price, which is commensurate with its performance.

Malcom Model 2014

Pleasant to drive, can reach 180 km/h if well maintained (filter...), doesn't like rain and power washing (poorly protected wiring due to multiple bad relay contacts), lifts on acceleration in 1st gear, too bad not in 2nd gear.
