optimized engine
the lightweight engine of the KTM 250 EXC Six Days is renowned for its sportiness and power. equipped with a TVC exhaust valve, 6-speed gearbox and electric starter, it's the most competitive 2-stroke engine in its class. The KTM 300 EXC's powerful engine, combined with a 6-speed gearbox and electric starter, offers an unrivalled power-to-weight ratio, exceptional performance and outstanding handling.
telescopic fork
kTM Six Days models are equipped with a 48 mm closed-cartridge 4CS fork from WP Suspension. Not only is WP's patented 4-chamber technology (4CS) an advantage in terms of responsiveness and consistent damping performance, it's also lighter and the oil change procedure is much simpler than on traditional closed-cartridge versions. Of course, the settings can be easily adapted to the track and rider with a few clicks of the knob at the top of the fork: compression adjustment on the left and rebound on the right: another advantage of 4CS technology.
frame
the modern frame design of the 250 EXC Six Days, with tubular sections made of lightweight, high-strength chrome-moly steel, offers an unrivalled level of comfort.ne steel, offers maximum longitudinal rigidity combined with optimum torsional rigidity. It ensures excellent handling and steering precision, as well as excellent riding stability. So the new frame doesn't just come in a new color; it also sets the benchmark in terms of weight and stability. The frame is the same orange color as that of the KTM factory team, making it even more attractive. Thanks to the combination of frame design and the PDS rear damping system, shocks to the rear wheel are optimally absorbed and dissipated. The 2016 model is also equipped with a solid frame protector.
swingarm
the design of the cast-aluminum swingarm is the result of careful calculations and computer simulation. Its design and wall thickness ensure optimum rigidity while reducing weight, as well as precisely defined flexibility.
individual suspension settings
each EXC model has its own suspension settings, perfectly matched to weight and engine. at the rear, a PDS shock absorber from WP Suspension is connected directly to the upper part of the swingarm. KTM machines come with a wide range of high-speed and low-speed rebound and compression adjustment options as standard.
fork clamps
top-of-the-range CNC-machined fork crowns are designed specifically for enduro riding, ensuring precise handling by influencing fork flex. Feedback to the front wheel is exceptional, even on the roughest terrain, increasing safety and passing speeds.
air box
the airbox on the KTM 250 EXC Six Days offers maximum air flow while preventing the passage of impurities. Replacing the dual air filter takes around 15 seconds, with no tools required. Resolutely "READY TO RACE";
high-quality wheels
all KTM Six Days models come with GIANT alloy wheels as standard.all KTM Six Days models are equipped as standard with GIANT wheels made of high-quality, extremely stable 7050 aluminum alloy, featuring the Six Days logo and CNC-machined hubs. Developed in collaboration with KTM, Metzeler tires ensure excellent traction, steering precision and long life. Another standard feature on Six Days is the Supersprox bi-metal rear sprocket with steel outer ring and aluminum star.
brakes
kTM's off-road models have always been equipped with high-tech Brembo brakes and Wave discs, the ultimate braking solution. True benchmarks in the enduro category, they remain unchanged on 2016 models.
fairing
the ergonomically designed fairing of the KTM 250 EXC Six Days is extremely slim, offering optimum contact between rider and machine. It guarantees total freedom of movement.
handlebars
all EXC models are equipped with ultra-strong, profiled Neken handlebars made of high-tensile aluminum alloy. Bridges of proven design standards allow the handlebars to be fixed in four different positions. Leonelli's new lighting control is adapted to the demands of enduro riding.
