from 2012 to 2026Mid-size streetfighter - The middle ground.
Three years after the arrival of the big Streetfighter, Ducati decided to give it a little brother. This time, the "little" Superbike 848 served as the basis. The result is a silhouette and aggressiveness identical to the big bad boy of the range, but with a much more accessible price and power. The single-sided swingarm, trellis frame, sharp look, slim and stocky appearance, cavernous twin engine and 132 horsepower are all there.
After its first generation, the Streetfighter was put to sleep for a long period. This left the field open for a whole host of Monster versions to take its place.
It only returned in 2022, this time based on the Panigale V2. More powerful and a little more brutal, the machine now produces 153 horsepower and has much more sophisticated electronics than the previous generation.
In 2025, the SF V2 was completely redesigned. It might have come as a shock with the disappearance of the single-sided swingarm and a significant drop in power. But the Panigale V2 had already paved the way by making the same changes. More "gentle," it falls in love with the new variable valve timing engine. Although the engine now only produces 120 horsepower, it is more flexible and more pleasant—more civilized, in short. As for the price, it has dropped dramatically.
