The history of the brand

BJR is a Spanish brand founded in 1942 in Algemesi (Valencia) by the Esplugues brothers. The company produced (initially under the Baesal brand) a number of two-stroke motorcycles with displacements ranging from 50 to 175cc, including the XZ 125 and YZ 175. The company also produced a prototype 175cc four-stroke engine.
Also producing several motorized trycicles, the brand disappeared in 1962 after 20 years of existence.
