presentation of the F4 1000 S AGO 2006
giacomo Agostini is more than just a driver. A legend has grown up around him and his 15 world championship titles, 14 of which he won with the MV team. With this special F4, the Schiranna factory pays tribute to this emblematic champion. The MV-AGUSTA acronym has become a byword for his achievements. The fairing sides of the already magnificent F4 are adorned with yellow stickers bearing the coveted n°1. The rear shell is adorned with a simple, elegant decoration in the colors of Italy. Limited to 300 units, the beauty will take care of its owner's honor. Each customer will have his or her name and motorcycle serial number engraved on an 18-carat gold plate. The Marzocchi inverted fork, treated with titanium nitride, is one of the most impressive known on a production motorcycle: 50 mm in diameter and featuring Nissin Racing 6-piston brake calipers. As with the 750, the 1000 is adorned with noble materials and high-quality features: Marchesini rims, carbon parts, gold number plate engraved with Giacomo's signature, alcantara seat... Enough to make you think twice before wringing out the throttle and unleashing the 166hp of the Italian 4-cylinder. The price remains typically MV-Agusta, i.e. virtually untouchable; but if you've got a few thousand euros to spare, there's nothing to stop you taking an interest in the ultimate version of the F4: the 1000 Tamburini. What could have motivated MV-Agusta to design such a machine? Surely to create an exceptional motorcycle for an exceptional man.
