As reigning WorldSBK champion Álvaro Bautista hinted a few months ago, we now know almost everything about Ducati's new Panigale for 2025.
New Panigale: V4 update or... new V2?
The date was set for this weekend, on the eve of World Ducati Week. After weeks of speculation and anticipation, the suspense came to an end on Thursday, July 25 at 8:30 p.m. with the presentation of the Panigale V4 2025, during the new episode of the Ducati World Première 2025 web series.
The question had been raised for some time: would it be a new Panigale V2 or an update of the Panigale V4? Ducati has opted for an evolution of the second option, originally launched in 2018 and last updated in 2022.
A complete redesign?
Ducati is not content with a simple incremental evolution with the new Ducati Panigale V4 2025. This new version marks a break with the past, while respecting the heritage of previous models. The bike sports a revisited design, combining Ducati's emblematic red with black accents, creating an aggressive visual effect.
Panigale V4 2025: a well-received model?
Ducati managed to keep the suspense alive right up to the end, and it seems that it was worth it. Enthusiasts and critics alike hailed the improvements made, although certain elements, such as the new fenders and double-sided swingarm (replacing the single-sided arm of the Panigale V4), provoked passionate debate. These choices, though controversial, demonstrate Ducati's determination to create a radically different motorcycle while retaining the brand's DNA.
So, she says, “this bike is a game changer. Racing technology is immortalized in a sculpture artistically translated by our design team.”
With the Panigale V4 2025 edition, Ducati continues to dominate the super-sport segment, combining advanced technology, sophisticated design and performance. Whether on the road or on the racetrack. While we await details of its availability in France and pricing, one thing is certain: Ducati has once again pushed the boundaries of excellence in the world of super-sports bikes. By offering such a radical motorcycle, the Bolognese manufacturer is targeting a clientele of enthusiasts in search of thrills and exclusivity. It may not satisfy everyone, but this new machine marks a new chapter in the history of Ducati, and of hypersport motorcycles...
