Bridgestone has just announced the imminent release of its all-new top-of-the-range Sport Touring motorcycle tire, the BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T33.
Scheduled for release in January 2025, this new-generation tire improves on the performance of its predecessor, the T32, while offering a 47% increase in tread life. A significant gain made possible by a combination of several factors...
Launch of BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T33: an innovative model?
The new Bridgestone T33 is a premium radial Sport Touring motorcycle tire for on-road use. This model, which will be launched in a few weeks' time, benefits from a completely redesigned rubber compound, incorporating an ultra-resistant polymer that limits the breakage of polymer chains caused by heat and abrasion. The tread structure has also been optimized to offer an improved distribution of solids and voids, enhancing traction and stability on both wet and dry roads.
In designing the BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T33, Bridgestone has built on the success of the T32 model, aiming to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride, whatever the weather conditions. The tread design of the front and rear tires has been revised to maintain grip in wet conditions, a quality already appreciated on the T32. Thanks to these innovations, the T33 reduces the risk of skidding, giving bikers superior control in bends and over long distances.
BATTLAX T33: Bridgestone's Sport Touring innovation
The BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T33 tire, shown here in action, promises to deliver great performance.
The world's largest tire manufacturer by volume is building on previous successes, and rightly so. The front tire is fitted with a new-generation radial belt, while the rear adopts a single-spiral belt, offering increased flexibility. This allows the T33 to be adapted to a wide range of two-wheeled models, from light to heavy, avoiding the need for a GT version. This flexibility optimizes highway driving and makes the tire accessible to a wide variety of motorcyclists.
A commitment to sustainable, enjoyable mobility
This launch is part of the Bridgestone E8 initiative, which promotes mobility that combines safety and driving pleasure. The T33, in addition to offering superior mileage, reinforces Bridgestone's "Emotion" pillar with a commitment to "bringing joy to the world of mobility".
The BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T33 will go on sale in January 2025, with four sizes available for the front tire and six for the rear tire.
