On October 22, Tiziano Internò broke the boundaries of the inconceivable with a spectacular performance: a scuba dive with a motorcycle, reaching a record depth of -42.15 meters.
Tiziano Internò: motorcycling from the Dakar to the seabed
Much more than just a technical challenge. This feat, achieved in the world's deepest thermal pool, "Y-40 The Deep Joy" in Montegrotto Terme, symbolizes the fusion of two long-standing passions: rallying and diving.
For this feat, Internò used a Honda motorcycle specially adapted to the extreme conditions of the seabed. Aesthetically similar to the CRF 450 Rally HRC he'll be riding in the Dakar 2025, it incorporated some innovative modifications. The usual fuel tanks were replaced by air lungs, controllable from the handlebars, to regulate buoyancy. A Teseo underwater electric motor, also controlled from the handlebars, provided propulsion."The bike is capable of flying underwater," explained the 33-year-old rider, underlining the ingenuity behind the vehicle.
The result was pure entertainment, broadcast live to hundreds of enthusiasts and retraced on a larger scale (37,000 subscribers) on his "Rally POV" YouTube channel.
A collective adventure that will accompany him to the Dakar 2025
The event, dubbed "Centroprofondo", was organized in collaboration with Alberto Narduzzi's agency "Multistudio Productions". It was not just an individual challenge, but a celebration of personal achievement. Internò was surrounded by inspirational figures such as 18-time freediving record-holder Gianluca Genoni, paraplegic pilot Nicola Dutto, and Paralympic athletes Ilenia Colanero and Fabrizio Pagani. All shared their stories, embodying a spirit of resilience and adaptation to physical and mental challenges. "It was an honor to share this adventure with athletes who embody the true spirit of the challenge," commented Internò. "Their presence has given the company an even deeper meaning."
Internò was keen to emphasize the significance of this adventure:"When I'm on a motorcycle or underwater, I feel free, flexible, connected to the Whole. This feat is an illustration of that connection, a blend between the elements earth and water, two worlds that everything seems to oppose, but which share an infinite capacity for adaptation."

Alongside this aquatic demonstration, Tiziano Internò unveiled the exclusive new "client" version of the Honda CRF 450 Rally HRC, a model designed for private pilots wishing to compete in races such as the Dakar. This model, developed in partnership with RS Moto, reflects the perfect balance between technological innovation and a spirit of adventure, characteristics dear to Internò.
We're no longer surprised by anything... After paragliding on a motorcycle, now diving. It was a daring move, during an "evening of lucid madness", as it was renamed, where the world of motorcycling was combined with that of diving. The event was also an opportunity to highlight strong values: audacity, creativity and the importance of pursuing one's dreams without expecting immediate results."Results come unexpectedly", confided the pilot.
-42 metres: a world record and a universal message
Certified by Mares depth meters, Tiziano Internò's feat is now listed in the Guinness Book of Records. For the young man married to Alessia, who accompanies him on his adventures, this record is just the beginning. After proving that a motorcycle can dive, he is preparing to conquer the dunes of the Sahara during the Dakar 2025, his fourth participation, thus pursuing his dream of merging land and water in a quest for infinity.
