News SC-Project introduces a new material for its exhaust systems.

An SC-Project exhaust made of TI-Carbon, a green wheel, a slightly extended rear end, a yellow Öhlins shock absorber, and the rear section of a Kawasaki Z900SE motorcycle

SC-Project is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Two decades of bringing the mechanics of our passion to life. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce a groundbreaking innovation: Ti-Carbon. A fusion of titanium and carbon that offers the best of both worlds.

The company’s research and development department spent many months fine-tuning and testing to bring this innovative solution to life. This technology combines carbon fiber and titanium in the weaving process, resulting in a composite material that is innovative in more ways than one.

This technological innovation will first be applied to a new CR-T M2 muffler, which will debut on the current Kawasaki Z900. As you can see, the result is a remarkably compact muffler with an unmistakable racing look, designed to accentuate the bike’s decidedly sporty character.

Technical advantages and an even more assertive racing look.

It is only when you get up close to the muffler body that the specific features of Ti-Carbon technology become apparent, revealing visual and textural differences compared to traditional carbon weave. The body is made from carbon fibers reinforced with titanium, a unique combination that offers three clear advantages:

  • Greater lightness compared to stock parts,
  • Improved structural strength compared to components without carbon,
  • Superior durability compared to an all-carbon composite.

In addition to these technical advantages, the carbon-titanium material also stands out for its new texture, which reveals a distinctive pattern, giving the silencer instant recognition and highlighting its racing identity.

This new material will be gradually introduced across the SC-Project range, with applications on high-performance machines.
