Equipment manufacturer Cokima is expanding its product line with the launch of the CK6 model, a pair of side bags designed for trail and adventure motorcycles. This product stands out for its dual functionality: it increases carrying capacity while providing additional protection in the event of a fall.

An airbag protection system

Designed to be mounted on the motorcycle’s crash bars, these two-liter bags each feature a pump and a valve for quick inflation. In the event of a fall, the bags act as shock absorbers, complementing the protective function of the original tubular structures.

Technically, the CK6 bags are made from durable synthetic materials (600D and 420D TPU) combined with a PVC mesh lining. To ensure waterproofing against the elements and maintain internal air pressure, the manufacturer uses heat-sealed seams as well as a waterproof and airtight zipper.

Storage Capacity and Mounting System

Beyond their protective role, these accessories offer a combined storage volume of four liters, complementing traditional luggage. Accessible via a wide zipper, they are sized to hold small items such as a first-aid kit, a puncture repair kit, or a compact electric compressor.

In terms of ergonomics, each bag is equipped with a mounting plate that combines mechanical and magnetic locking, a system designed to facilitate quick installation and removal. This plate attaches to the motorcycle’s tubular frame via two rubber straps. Finally, the exterior features a MOLLE-style webbing strip, allowing for the addition of optional pockets or accessories.

The Cokima luggage line is sold in France through the GreenForce distribution network, which has 240 retail locations nationwide.
