presentation of the B-KING 1300 2011

when it was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2001, the B-King prototype caused a sensation. With its ultra-aggressive looks and the most powerful engine of its time, boosted by a supercharger, it was the first glimpse of a super street fighter. It took 6 years for Suzuki to be convinced by the public's reactions - but in 2007, the B-King will finally go into production!

since the proto, the lines have changed somewhat, without altering too much the original concept. Let's just say that the hard, chunky, warlike line has softened its rough edges a little to take it down to the street. The headlight has lost some of its aggressiveness (a pity) and the mini handlebars have been replaced by a standard model. Less aggressive on the front, the B-King retains its superb air-devouring shoulders with large integrated turn signals, its inverted fork gSX-R 1000 forks, a rear shell with 2 large, stylized exhausts, a huge swingarm reinforced to the max.... and above all, the big 1340 4-cylinder of the 2008 Hayabusa.
On the proto, it was pumped up to 200 hp. Here, Suzuki has preferred to tone it down compared to the colossal power developed by the latest version of the 1300 GSX-R. The manufacturer's figures give the impression of being on the verge of insanity, or of respecting 183 hp... Outrageous - A roadster more powerful than most current hypersports. With 15 mkg of torque, it'll atomize anyone in acceleration. We thought BMW had gone too far with the 163 hp of the 2007 model K 1200 R; with 20 more horsepower, Suzuki has taken excess to a new level.
2 huge radiators to cool the big watts, an aluminum perimeter frame to hold it all together, a rear tire less wide than on the proto (but still 200 mm) to take the boiler's boot (like the dago, it's going to hurt) - the road is going to smoke this autumn. One thing's for sure: this is one crazy machine!

Happy owner of the B-King since 2007 and 150,000 kms of pure happiness, this machine delights me daily as on the first day with its engine "so jouissif" and extremely reliable associated with a cycle part out of the ordinary!!!!
Personal message to Suzuki: please make us dream again with real machines… Dare the future!!!!

As the owner of a 2010 BKing 1340 with 18,000 km, I can say that after 35 years of riding and having scoured the roads of France, it's sensational. It's impossible to find your limits, so much so that you want to ride without necessarily looking for them.
Bonne route.

Trop... Puissant lourd gros... Trop bien
After a year of dreams, nightmares, thrills, fears and above all immense pleasure, what can I say about my monster, because that's what it is, a monster, especially after a perfect set-up displaying 209.5hp and 324.7 km/h on the dyno and a speedometer setting that's only 2 km apart at 270 km/h, and I won't tell you how I know... Let's just say that, having made a few r1s etc and several of our friends in blue cry, I think I'm beginning to scratch the surface of the bking's potential.
For those who like comparisons, I'd say that the bking is a very, very, very big American muscle car, powerful beyond reason, imperfect, expensive to maintain but not overpriced either, flashy but that's what we like.
On the driving front, there's nothing to complain about, except that the footbraces are a little low... At 230 on a bend, the footbraces touch when climbing... on the other hand, even at 250, it's still running smooth and stable, etc
Equipped with pots zard at the time of purchase, the aesthetics are greatly improved
And for those who complain about the rear tires in 200, I like them, especially the Bridgestone s20 evoR
In the rain... Avoid!
And the little bubble... Indispensable
Small but not ridiculous fuel tank
In short, if you want a big, torquey, powerful, fast and perfectly finished roadster, don't go for the bking because there's investment in the air. But if you're like me and love this transformation to death (episode 2), then go for it, but decide on 2 things: either stay within the limits or be ready to go for it all the time... guess where I stand...
See you on the road

This bike is simply the best I've ever ridden!!! No other bike comes close
Reassuring and precise chassis, demonic braking (especially with L\'abs... And this engine....ahurissant !!! To try it is to adopt it.
Warning!!! You'll have to open the piggy bank often to change the tires.... But no pain, no gain....

i tried this bike 2 days ago, and it's impressive. Here's the qualifier: otherwise well-balanced, good mass transfer, high-level acceleration, aesthetics that leave no one indifferent, a pure technological product as far as the engine is concerned. Rating : 5/5

i've had it for 2 years now, and it's been a pleasure to ride, with a bodied pot and a resonant sound
ultra powerful to put in the hands of informed people, until today I left everything on the spot, so be careful to manage your impulses because accidents happen quickly, very maneuverable, powerful brake and a mouth of hell ...

After a cb 500 to start with, an Inazuma 1200, a gsx 1400 and an Mt01, I wasn't sure what to get. I'd seen photos of the B King and thought it looked very ugly. But I also knew from experience, thanks to the Mt01, that a bike that looks ugly in photos can turn out to be magnificent in real life. There was one near my house. I went along. I knew at once that I was going to take it. What a piece! Then, when you drive it, you discover a MONSTROUS engine! All this with a very high level of comfort (my first bike with a steering damper). Conclusion: I don't regret it, it was worth it. But beware: easy to handle, formidable power = potentially dangerous bike. If you're a young rider, don't bother... Rating : 5/5

No opinion on the B King?
After taking my motorcycle licence late two years ago (at the age of 46), I've been making up for lost time ever since, and after other big roadsters (Inazuma 1200, gsx 1400 and Mt01), I've just switched to the B King. First observation: the photos don't do it justice. Like the Mt01, it's a bike that benefits enormously (really enormously) from being seen in real life, right there, in front of you, a metre away. And then, I guarantee you'll say to yourself: "Oh pu...naise! What a piece! She's so beautiful! Then, well, you get on it. I'm a small model ( 1M73 for 64 kilos ) so obviously, like on the Mt01, I'm more on my toes when we're stationary. But as soon as you're on the move, there's no problem with maneuverability. On the contrary, after the Mt01, whose center of gravity was further forward and a little higher, I feel like I'm on a bike, as they say. I'm not saying this will be the case for everyone. Then you ride. And little by little, you discover the engine... THE ENGINE, I should say. HUGE. ENORMISSIME. The one in the Inaz 1200 was fine. The gsx 1400's was great. I'll leave the Mt01's aside, that was a different philosophy. But here, the B King, even bridled at 106 hp... Ffff. Quite simply, I quickly realized that the windscreen would be indispensable, given the insane acceleration. Torque? For me, unprecedented. That of the Mt01, reputed to be even superior, is not as easily usable (nothing to see, in fact). On the B King, in sixth gear, you can go to 50 on the throttle without using the clutch, and the engine doesn't even flinch... Comfort, very good. The original seat is very wide, and that's what really counts to keep your butt from hurting. Suspension, very good, with a special mention for the steering damper, which is a real plus compared to my previous bikes. Clutch, good, but not up to the level of the Mt01, which was remarkable.
Overall, a great bike. A bit of a pushover, admittedly. Easy to ride, monstrous power = to be avoided by young licence holders.

by far the best machine for a roadster! alas, the list of accessories is long and expensive, and some of them are indispensable: pot, plate support, windscreen, 190 tires... but it's a pleasure to ride like few motorcycles can provide. especially the look on the faces of the guys on 1000 sportbikes when they see that we're holding up even after 300! 1 hour test ride: I didn't even engage 5th gear! The B-KING is truly monstrous, and I felt like I was riding a moped again when I took possession of my 1250 bandit left at the dealership for the test ride. If you want to ride a fighter jet, don't hesitate: the B-KING! Rating : 5/5

Hello
Superb bike, I want it and I'll have it... when I can afford it
en attendant ça serait sympa que les rares chanceux qui la possédede déja laissent des commentaires histoire de nous faire patientez .
PS: to leave such a machine in a 106 hp version is either a waste of money or stupid, so if anyone knows how to get it unstuck, the prices... or knows of a site that deals with the subject, please share your tips with us

I'm a bit disappointed at the moment, but maybe that's due to the photo, the fork head doesn't convince me and the pots seem much too long
As is often the case, let's wait to see it in real life to get a real idea
