presentation of the GSF 1250 bandit N 2012

bandits come and go... and look alike. The recent update of the 650 is logically continued on the big brother 1250. There's no revolution in the connecting rods or bodywork, but a new look adds a bit of pizzazz to the big GSF. Say good-bye to the round headlight; welcome the stylized optics, finely reworked from the 650's... and somewhat similar to the FZ6's. Bye-bye to the old-fashioned dashboard. The instrumentation is also taken from the little Bandit, differing only in the numbers indicating the red zone. The under-tank scoops and exhaust also get a facelift, as does the rear light. Nothing transcendent, but a bourgeois update.
the GSF 1250 is revitalized without changing its fundamentals: a big, torquey engine, available but without the sulphurous relief of its ancestor, born in 1996. ABS is available as an option, further enhancing the safety aspect of a machine that's becoming more and more sociable, going against the grain of today's streetfighters. A few grams of tenderness in a world of brutes?
