Motorcycle specifications SuzukiC 800 INTRUDER 2017 Discover the boulevard

love the Intruder? Look at it with nostalgia as this generation draws to a close. Euro4 doesn't allow it to go any further, except for a few examples tolerated by legislation. A friendly, no-frills custom bike that has kept a low profile since its last evolution.
The Intruder 800 had disappeared from the Suzuki range for a while to adapt to Euro3 standards. Reintroduced in 2009, it continues to defend the Japanese custom identity. Beautifully designed with harmonious shapes and proportions, no fuss (there's the M 800 cousin for that), a water-cooled twin and long skirts over the wheels, the Intruder is convincing in its elegant, successful styling. Its 805 cm3 twin is now cleaner, while retaining a power output whose wisdom exceeds 50 hp without violence. Transmission is by cardan shaft, fuel injection, and braking is by disc at the front and drum at the rear. Chrome, LED taillights and an on-board console inlaid on the tank give the C 800 a real cachet. Too bad it's so heavy, weighing in at 280 kg. Especially since a 130-wide front tire doesn't help its agility. It makes up for this by welcoming the rider with a low seat and long running boards. An unobtrusive custom for relaxed riding.

Custom, the center of gravity is very low, so the
good grip.
The bezel on the fuel tank lets you control
to control the gear you're in, making it easier to pick up.
The spreader bar allows you to shift gears with your heel
the 2 rear storage compartments are invaluable, but do not store a helmet. The electronics are top-notch!
top-notch!

An all-purpose bike, ideally used for cruising at /- 90km/h, it's perfect for freeway sections (even if the lack of a bubble tires the rider out in the long run), and also proves extremely manoeuvrable in town. If its size initially makes you hesitate to slalom through traffic, once you've mastered the beast, it becomes child's play with its low center of gravity and torque.
The slightly extended leg position allows riders of all heights to feel at ease on the handlebars (I'm 1.90 m tall, so the bike fits me perfectly, and I lent it to a 1.65 m tall friend who felt good on it too).
The c800 has very attractive lines that turn heads (try parking it in a busy area and standing a little way off, and you'll only have to wait a few seconds to see the first curious onlookers approach). The only minor complaint is that the noise level is a little low for a bike of this size, and while it's still pleasant with its little purr, it's not what you'd expect from a big custom.
If you're looking for a motorcycle that's comfortable, good-looking, fun to ride in all situations, and easy to maintain (Suzuki's cardan shaft philosophy for lazy riders like me), don't hesitate! Rating : 5/5 Respond to Ça is
I have purchased the Rewacoo ct800 S trike model 2014, same model as the Intruder c800 but in 3 wheels. I am desperate to buy the technical review of this model. I want to do mechanics, but without this magazine it's impossible. Do you sell it? Or can you tell me where I can find a French version?
Merci d'avance

I cry at over 130 km/h because of the enormous fuel consumption
as for the noise, I'd like to free up my purchases or change them, but I'd have to do a new mapping. A dealer told me no, but I doubt it.

i'm looking for one, but which one should I get?
the C version or the M?
From what year did they put the injection?
thanks Rating : 2/5 Respond to custom13
to answer your question about the noise (too bland for my taste), I had 2 silver-tail K02 lines fitted with adjustable baffles.
ps: j\'ai enlevé une seule chicane sur les 2 cela me suffit largement.(trop de bruit tue le bruit)bonne route.

at first glance, the Suzuki is better finished, nicer to look at and better equipped.
The seat is more comfortable, including the ride and handling with adjustable suspension; even the extra 30kg weight isn't too noticeable.
The engine is so smooth, and the noise and vibrations are more in keeping with the Harley Davidson spirit, minus the exhaust noise.
The ride is more reassuring, even if it's slightly less maneuverable, and I still can't tell the difference; it doesn't weave like the VN 900.
The gearbox is smoother and, thanks to the engine's torque, you don't have to downshift as much as with the Kawa, which was a pain in the city.
The only negative point is that it seems to consume a little more fuel than the Kawa, but that's still very reasonable for a custom bike of its weight, especially as it weighs close to 300 kg with the equipment.
In short, a passion purchase that I don't regret, given the price I paid, and what's more, I prefer the local dealer

I've just passed my motorcycle driving test at the age of 68. My first motorcycle, the Intruder C800 2013, was a delight to ride
in short, happy to have made this choice Rating : 5/5 Respond to mik ,
I've been riding an 800 Intruder since 2008, and now I'm on my second, and I'm still having just as much fun on this bike... Fitted with saddlebags, a windscreen and a few gadgets, it reaches 300 Kgs with flying colors, but still has plenty of power, and its top speed flirts with 160, but its cruising speed remains 90/100 KM/H, so image gearboxes don't scare the others... If its looks leave no one indifferent, the real pleasure for its pite is to watch the landscape go by on the cover of its huge chrome headlight.
All the ingredients for a cool ..... ride, with the emphasis on pace rather than speed! Rating : 2/5 Respond to kristo
I've rediscovered the pleasure of riding a big custom bike, with less weight but still with the same sensations. Whether you're on a long-haul vacation, in the mountains or in the city, with fuel consumption of less than 6 liters, I recommend you try this bike. Rating : 4/5 Respond to custom40
