Motorcycle specifications SuzukiGSX-R 125 2018 First claw

A small sports bike looks majestically into its mirrors... The GSX-R line has seen it all in circuit racing, won it all, taken it all. From the finest victories to bitter disillusionment, through unspeakable speeds and moments of doubt, the 'Gex' has weathered the years until its name has become almost mythical. Having explored a wide range of displacements, from the 50 cm3 to the 1340 Hayabusa, and especially the 750 cm3, Suzuki is now offering it in a 125 cm3 configuration. At last, a little sports bike for young people, bearing the famous red R.
the GSX-R 125 has been rumored for many years. Echoes leaked out, but the manufacturer said nothing. Until the machine made its official debut, surprising observers and immediately positioning itself as a machine to be reckoned with. This arrival had to command respect from the outset. Suzuki announces that its little GSX-R will boast an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Its silhouette makes you believe it without batting an eyelid: with its feline look, its design that finely reproduces the GSX-R codes and its eye-catching face, the youngest of the gex models can proudly stand next to its big brothers.
sporty, yes, but not as sporty as some of the more aggressive models. For example, there are no inverted forks or radial calipers like on the Aprilia RS 125. Instead, we have a conventional fork, an axial jaw and one brake disc per wheel. With ABS as standard. Enough to keep the engine's power in check. Suzuki's approach is not one of showmanship, but of efficiency. A classic, modern 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 4-valve, fuel-injected, double-actuated, liquid-cooled engine takes care of the overall velocity. According to legislation, 15 horsepower are expected. To make the difference, Suz has announced that its 125 has the smallest frontal area in the category, and that the fairing parts are lighter than those used by the competition. The result is better acceleration and lower fuel consumption.
In addition to its incisive, engaging lines, the 125 GSX-R is also distinguished by a number of other features. A closer look reveals petal brake discs, a breathtaking exhaust system with twin tailpipes, LED headlamps, and an instrument cluster that's as distinctive as it gets. LEDs, that the all-digital instrumentation is a simplified version of the latest 1000 and, as a surprising refinement, that the bike can be started without a key.
Well, yes, there is a key. But with contactless technology, like on the Kawasaki 1400 GTR or the big BMWs. All you have to do is carry it in your pocket, turn the switch and a simple press of the right thumb is all it takes to shake the mono. With the Suzuki Easy Start System, the starter remains engaged until the engine starts.
alongside the CBR 125, YZF-R 125, Aprilia RS 125 and KTM RC 125, the category will have to reckon with this new player with a prestigious name.
