Motorcycle specifications SuzukiTLR 1000 2003 Another destiny

Sport

the TLR had one mission: to enter the Superbike class and take on Ducati. The Hamamatsu-based manufacturer took a twin-sport machine from its catalog - the TLS - and put it through its paces. GSX-R aesthetics, rotary shock absorber from the S but more sophisticated, SRAD, imposing double-beam frame and reinforced swingarm, 6-piston brake calipers... and re-vitamized engine; the twin is fitted with 2 injectors per cylinder and various parts are modified: airbox, moving parts in the engine, intake ducts. The twin produced 135 bhp on the racetrack - although it was designed to produce almost 150 bhp by means of a few subtle arrangements. A Belgian tuner was even able to get 180 bhp out of it! False illusions, because the machine was too heavy and, despite the wide range of settings available, this Superbike was not at home on the racetrack. Its potential is far more interesting outside the paddock. The bike boasts an efficient, sure-footed front end, remarkable traction and a powerful, pleasant engine. The whole machine is efficient and pleasant, admittedly a little heavy but well-balanced. The riding position is sporty but comfortable, as is the protection. The duo on the TLR is quite simply a workout, shortened only by the ridiculous range. The attractive price and the engine's enchanting behavior should be taken into account, especially the twin's potential!

French Nrv51 Model 1998
After knowing V4 honda and 4 in line kawa, I was looking for a machine that hits, Italian ???? No thanks. Then I remembered that in 2000, a buddy of mine had a tlr and I loved it. So now I've just bought a 1998 model with 50,000kms and all original parts. What a machine! It pushes (yes, it's in full German model), the comfort is very good and the sound of the two mufflers is enchanting. The controls are incredibly smooth. Handling is good and cornering requires a bit of effort, but once you're on it, it's a rail
In short, I love it.

French race-replica Model 1998
16 years of life together with my tl1000r bought at 2000kms, today it has 104500kms, never had any breakdown or worry whatsoever, the engine is still entirely in original parts even the clutch ! which has just been deglazed at 55000kms (I only use it as a first) it will remain in the family ! French TLR 974 Model 1998
I think it's a great bike, thanks to its rarity. Great feeling, great design. Top notch! Rating : 5/5
hello
i want to change the clutch on my tlr from 30/12/1998
i found a used one from a 1999 tls
before taking it i'd like to make sure it fits
thank you for your help.

French heloudo Model 1998
i'm the proud owner of this magnificent bike and since then i've found nothing but good things except for my passenger.
but apart from that, it's very responsive on acceleration and braking, and it's good on the corners.
Fatiguante à basse vitesse donc je ne conseil pas pour des trajet quotidien...

bonne route à tous.

French michelin Model 1998
for me too, it's a superb bike, and for 2 people it's great too, because the rear seat is very wide; plus I've got a vinx gripp tank handle, which is just great
italiano, my arms were hard at first too, but since I had the fork oil changed, it's better, it plunges me at the front, think of the rear brake to relieve the arms...

Coming from 2 years on a 600 ZZR and having tried several hypersports (R1 in full, R6 etc...) well I must say that for the moment I've only had the opportunity to get to know the beauty (I've only done a little over 1000kms with it). Well, I'm scaring myself (full inside)! An engine straight out of a Star Wars ship! The needle jumps into the red zone at the slightest twist of the throttle. Even at 8000 rpm in 3rd gear, if you put the handle in the corner, the front wheel flies off! This is a super machine, impressive in its looks and its demonic bi. To be tamed and not to be left in every hand. Rating : 5/5
French bruno 32 Model 1998

I also ride a 1200 bandit with prepa course, although I'm a converted twiner, the only hitch! i've got a rear end that bounces around in curves despite an EMC amorto, I just can't find the right settings, superzut I'd really like to file down its footbraces in curves, that said, maybe it's better this way, to avoid me getting carried away! a little advice from you and I'll sign up for 10 years !!!! Rating : 5/5
French jiolulu
me, this becanna is tip top as far as i'm concerned, all original except for the pot and the footrests rub well. the only hitch is the fairing too, so amorto or not, that's fine too Rating : 5/5

French pharm Model 1998
just one thing to say: this is the first time I haven't felt like changing bikes after 4 years (except maybe to find another TLR with fewer terminals). Great engine, natural position (nothing to do with a ZX7R, for example, a real anvil), permanent pleasure. Rating : 5/5
French kobe Model 1998
a real motorcycle!
at least it's not an electric motor!
a real pleasure to listen to and ride
A motorcycle with character that has nothing to envy from its rivals!
and I'm not even talking about its dual injection, which is twice as noticeable when you've tested the tls (single injection). try its little sister, and you'll understand why it's so big!

French Schussboel Model 1998
Great machine! Heavy? Yes. Rear suspension not powerful enough? Yes, less than €500 for a Bitubo which gives much more performance. Not enough comfort for the duo? No! Not at all, the TLR is one of the sport bikes that really gives you a lot of room at the back. I love it with all my heart and man ^ame... It's got soul. Rating : 5/5
French stef55 Model 1998
The TLR, a man's bike and I can't get enough of it! Heavy indeed, but easy to ride with a bit of experience! What happiness in weeling, it's top cool !!! Too bad production is over! VIVE le twin Rating : 5/5

French italiano Model 1998
c'est clair c'une machine top niquel!!! maintenant a deux c'est vraiment galere pour les bras et les epaules Rating : 5/5
Indeed, it's a heavy machine compared to the latest featherweights (gsx-r), but it's still a joy to ride the twin. At least you can feel the two legs living between your thighs, and what a sound! Rating : 5/5
