After the TF 450-RC, it was expected that Triumph would take its spikes into enduro territory. The TF 450-E will do just that, and its desire for performance will coexist with the spirit of premium quality that the brand infuses into all its models.
Racy and vindictive, this bike has been designed and developed with enduro world champions to excel in competitive races and trails, across technical terrain and high-speed sections. The precision-engineered 450 cm3 powertrain delivers peak performance, combined with the optimum blend of unrivalled low-speed agility and inspiring high-speed stability.
Developed entirely by Triumph in close collaboration with five-time world champion Ivon Cervantes and four-time enduro world champion Paul Edmondson, the TF 450-E is built on a unique lightweight aluminum chassis designed for agility and strength. The new spine frame design offers first-rate handling and stability on all terrains.
This enduro model is equipped with premium brand components and features the latest off-road technology, as well as an ergonomic rider-focused package and race-inspired styling. Sleek bodywork, yellow Triumph Performance graphics and integrated LED lighting give the machine a bold, aggressive look that stands out at the starting line.
Building on Triumph's reputation for quality and reliability, the TF 450-E will also benefit from world-class support, backed by a global network of specialist distributors and a 24/7 parts ordering and supply system.
Precision designed for engineering excellence
The TF 450 cm3 liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivers impressive power and torque with a linear power curve, ensuring smooth acceleration in a variety of conditions, from technical climbs to high-speed straights.
The TF 450-E is designed to excel in high-speed enduro racing, ideal for experienced riders looking for power, speed and versatility on open trails and hills. With its greater low-end and mid-range torque, it tackles hill climbs, sand dunes and situations requiring less shifting with ease. Its smooth, tractable power delivery and connected, controllable motor character ensure that riders can feel the pull of the bike's rear wheel and the seamless transfer of energy to the ground.
The mono has been developed to have more inertia than motocross, providing a more stable and transportable power supply in diverse and unpredictable racing conditions. This is complemented by the six-speed Exedy racing clutch, which enables smooth, clutchless upshifts, maintaining momentum in tight technical sections.
Advanced fuel injection and ignition systems manage energy efficiently, ensuring instant throttle response and reliable performance throughout demanding rides. A custom-designed 44 mm Dell'orto throttle body provides an air bypass system for cold starts and manually adjustable idle speed.
Del West titanium valves and a Koenig forged aluminum piston ensure consistent performance during prolonged high-speed operation, significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
For the TF 450-E, stud pins and rockers are further enhanced with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coatings, improving durability and reducing friction. The high-capacity radiator and auxiliary fan, combined with a Twin-air tool-free dual-stage filter, provide consistent engine cooling, ensuring reliable power on long, demanding journeys.
Athena engine management system
Triumph and Athena have combined their extensive off-road experience to create a perfect synergy, resulting in the development of new software strategies with a strong emphasis on handling and traction. The management system features fully customized software. The new system benefits from co-developed mapping and traction control strategies, specifically adapted by Triumph and Athena to enhance performance and reliability.
The two engine maps adapt performance for different conditions at the touch of a button, giving the rider the choice to adapt and excel in different race conditions. Drivers can switch from one map to the other on the fly. One for aggressive performance, the other for smoother, more controllable behavior on technical terrain. Additional maps can also be added with the optional Wi-Fi module and the Triumph MX Tune Pro application.

Exhaust system
The TF 450-E features a side resonator in the muffler, specially designed for targeted noise attenuation, resulting in a deep, powerful exhaust note.
Lightweight aluminum frame
This model features Triumph's unique lightweight aluminum frame, with optimized mass, rigidity and low center of gravity. This delivers exceptional agility, improving high-speed stability and offering crisp directional control and confidence. Post-fabrication machining enhances dimensional accuracy, while the frame also features in-house hand-welded craftsmanship.
Advanced suspension system
KYB's 48mm inverted fork is fully adjustable, and the three-way adjustable link rear suspension is specifically tuned for enduro challenges, ensuring responsive control, excellent power transfer and maximum traction in demanding conditions. With a 10 mm reduction compared to Triumph's motocross models and improved settings, they offer an excellent balance between control and bump absorption, while minimizing drift during cornering.
Easy to set up and maintain, this state-of-the-art suspension offers top-level adjustment for rider weight and riding style, as well as exceptional skill on a variety of terrain, from muddy tracks to rocky paths.
Endometer-specific swingarm geometry ensures precise feedback, empowering enduro riders to make quick adjustments to navigate obstacles, and providing intuitive, inspiring handling for competition and adventure.
Rider-focused technology
The TF 450-E is equipped with a formidable selection of premium brand specifications and cutting-edge technologies, optimizing performance in all conditions.
These can be accessed using intuitive handlebar-mounted controls with illuminated knobs for quick and easy adjustments, while the digital display provides real-time data, including engine temperature and gear engaged.
The advanced traction control system monitors rear wheel slip and modulates power output to provide consistent grip on unpredictable surfaces, while optimized launch control manages torque delivery to maximize off-the-line traction, helping riders achieve consistent, competitive starts. The fast Triumph-designed shifter enables seamless gear changes between second and sixth gears for uninterrupted power delivery and preserving momentum during critical sections of the race.
Other high-end components, included as standard, include the Galfer performance braking system with a 260 mm front brake disc and 220 mm rear brake disc, combined with a 24 mm Brembo two-piston floating front caliper, a single 26 mm single-piston floating rear caliper and an adjustable-gap brake lever.
The machine is fitted with Michelin Enduro 2 tires, with an innovative tread pattern offering improved grip and traction, designed for a variety of terrains. D.I.D DirtStar 7000 series aluminum wheels, with a black anodized finish and lightweight aluminum hubs designed by Triumph, complete the look.
Ergonomics and style for the modern Racer
Engineered to meet the demands of competitive and extended racing, the ergonomics of theTF 450-E have been designed to maximize both performance and rider comfort.
The clean ACF Carbon Core handlebar with adjustable mounts allows riders to customize fit and feel, perfecting the positioning between handlebar, saddle and feet. This can minimize fatigue, improve control during tight turns and reduce rider distortion during prolonged standing.
A seat height of 955 mm provides optimum clearance for technical sections, while an optimized saddle offers excellent grip and a rubbery consistency to improve positioning in both dry and wet conditions. The ergonomic design and high-quality foam padding offer enhanced comfort, enabling enduro riders to ride longer without discomfort. The seat cover material is highly durable and wear-resistant, making it ideal for off-road conditions.
The 8.3-liter fuel tank offers long range for extended adventures, and the compact, integrated LED lights improve visibility in low-light conditions.
