Motorcycle specifications TriumphTF 250-E 2026 A shrew full of watts

Enduro

After a remarkable entry into the cross-country arena, Triumph is now tackling another sector of the joys of the earth. More escape, more nature, a wider range of challenges with a TF 250-E dedicated to the virtues of enduro riding.

As with the 450, Triumph took care to develop this bike entirely in-house, with the help of top names in the field. Designed with five-time world champion Iván Cervantes and four-time enduro world champion Paul Edmondson, the TF 250-E and TF 450-E share a unique lightweight aluminum chassis, designed to combine agility and robustness. The new low-profile frame offers exceptional handling and stability on all terrains.

The two-and-a-half is equipped with top-of-the-range components and benefits from the latest off-road technologies, as well as optimized rider ergonomics and race-inspired styling. Elegant cladding, Triumph Performance Yellow graphics and integrated LED lighting give the bikes a bold, aggressive look that stands out at the starting line.

Building on Triumph's reputation for excellence and reliability, the TF 250-E will also benefit from first-class support, backed by a global network of specialist dealers and a 24/7 parts ordering and supply system.

Precision-engineered for enduro excellence

Triumph has developed a single-cylinder enduro racing engine, designed for exceptional performance.

Triumph TF 250-E

Triumph's all-new 250 enduro block is the most powerful in its class. It offers responsive, maneuverable power and determined character. It's perfectly suited to technical sections and tight enduro challenges, and ideal for riders looking for fun and accessible performance.

With 42.3 hp and 27.8 Nm of torque, a wide power curve and powerful low revs, the TF 250-E excels in low-speed technical sections and reaches a powerful maximum revs at 12,800 rpm.

The thruster has been developed to offer greater inertia than the motocross engine, providing more stable and manageable power in varied and unpredictable racing conditions. The six-speed Exedy racing clutch completes the system, enabling smooth, clutchless gear changes, preserving momentum in tight, technical sections.

Advanced injection and ignition systems manage power efficiently, ensuring instant throttle response and reliable performance on demanding journeys. A bespoke 44 mm Dellorto throttle body offers an air bypass system for cold starts and manually adjustable idle.

Del West titanium valves and König forged aluminum piston ensure consistent performance even at high rpm, significantly reducing maintenance requirements.

Athena engine management system

Triumph and Athena have combined their extensive off-road experience to create a perfect synergy, resulting in the development of new software strategies focusing on handling and maneuverability. The TF250-E's engine management system features fully customized software. This new system benefits from mapping and traction control strategies developed jointly by Triumph and Athena to optimize performance and reliability.

Dual engine mapping adapts performance to different conditions at the touch of a button, giving the rider the ability to adapt and excel in race conditions. It's possible to switch between two distinct engine maps on the fly: one for aggressive performance, the other for smoother, more controlled driving on technical terrain. Additional mappings can also be added using the optional Wi-Fi module and the Triumph MX Tune Pro application.

Triumph TF 250-E

Exhaust system

The TF 250-E's lightweight stainless steel exhaust system incorporates a Helmholtz resonator in the manifold, improving air evacuation from the cylinders and enhancing performance.

Lightweight aluminum frame

This model features Triumph's unique lightweight aluminum frame, offering optimized mass, rigidity and low center of gravity. The frame offers exceptional agility, enhanced high-speed stability and precise directional control for confidence-building riding. Post-fabrication machining enhances dimensional accuracy, while the frame benefits from in-house hand-crafted TIG welding.

Advanced suspension system

KYB's fully adjustable 48 mm coil fork and 3-way adjustable link rear suspension are specially designed for the challenges of enduro riding, guaranteeing responsive control, excellent power transfer and maximum traction in the most demanding conditions. With a 10 mm reduction compared to Triumph's motocross models and optimized settings, it offers an exceptional balance between handling and bump absorption, while minimizing pitching in corners.

Easy to adjust and maintain, this market-leading suspension offers great adaptability to the rider's weight and riding style, as well as exceptional adaptability to varied terrain, from muddy tracks to rocky paths.

Enduro-specific swingarm geometry ensures precise front-end feedback, allowing riders to make quick adjustments to overcome obstacles and offering intuitive, inspiring handling for both competition and adventure.

Technology at the rider's service

The new TF 250-E aims to be the best in its class. It is equipped with an impressive selection of high-end specifications and cutting-edge technologies, optimizing performance in all conditions.

These are accessed via intuitive handlebar controls, with illuminated buttons for quick and easy adjustments. The digital speedometer displays real-time data, including engine temperature, trip information and gear engaged.

Triumph TF 250-E

The advanced traction control system monitors rear wheel slip and modulates power for constant grip on unpredictable surfaces. Optimized launch control manages torque delivery to maximize traction at the start, enabling riders to achieve consistent, competitive starts. The Triumph-designed Quickshifter enables smooth, clutchless shifting between second and sixth gears, delivering uninterrupted power and preserving momentum in critical sections of the race.

Other top-of-the-range standard components include the high-performance Galfer braking system with 260 mm front and 220 mm rear brake discs, combined with a 24 mm Brembo double-piston floating front caliper, a 26 mm single-piston floating rear caliper and an adjustable-gap brake lever.

The TF 250-E is shod with Michelin Enduro 2 tires, featuring an innovative tread pattern for enhanced grip and traction, designed for a variety of terrains (soft to hard) and conditions (muddy to dry). D.I.D DirtStar 7000-series aluminum wheels, with black anodized finish, and lightweight Triumph-designed cast and machined aluminum hubs complete the look.

Ergonomics and style for the modern rider

Designed to meet the demands of competition and long-distance touring, the TF 250-E is engineered to optimize performance and rider comfort.

The Pro Taper handlebar with adjustable clamps allows the rider to customize the fit and feel, perfecting the positioning between handlebar, saddle and footpegs. This minimizes fatigue, improves control in tight turns and reduces rider strain when standing for long periods. ODI's semi-embossed, lockable grips offer exceptional grip and durability, ensuring optimum control in all conditions.

The 955 mm seat height offers optimum clearance while maintaining a maneuverable overhanging position in technical sections, while the non-slip Pyramid saddle offers excellent grip and a rubberized consistency for improved positioning in both wet and dry conditions. The ergonomic design and high-quality foam padding offer superior comfort, enabling riders to ride longer without discomfort. The saddle cover is highly wear-resistant, making it ideal for off-road conditions.

Rugged, high-performance and resolutely race-ready, the enduro model boasts clean lines and an aggressive look. It features an aggressive, minimalist bodywork, developed and manufactured in-house by Triumph to combine lightness and durability. Competition-inspired graphics in Triumph Performance yellow, black and white, and magnesium engine covers, which also facilitate track maintenance, complete the look.

The 8.3-liter fuel tank offers plenty of range for extended adventures, and compact, integrated LED lights improve visibility in low-light conditions.
