Sportier than the America, it benefits from shorter gear ratios, a double disc at the front and a spoked front wheel, whereas the rear wheel is solid. The engine retains the 270° timing of the America, giving it more "good vibrations" and feel. Legs apart, feet forward and handles to reach beyond the horizon, the Triumph offers a slightly cramped but relaxed position for cruising, with only the flattering plasticity of the machine to show off. It's a pity the suspension isn't up to scratch: the rear end is dry and delivers a not necessarily pleasant dose of kicks to the ... As a sporty cruiser, the Speedmaster is proud of its roadholding and invites you to attack... quickly calmed by the limited ground clearance. Braking is equally powerful and enduring, limiting the sweating of the rider during his adrenalin rush.
more displacement for the Speedmaster, which since 2005 has been powered by the Thruxton engine. 75 cm3 more for greater comfort, and still with 270° timing - the retro-sport bike's is 360°. It loses 7 horsepower and gains almost 1 mkg of torque. More charm for the British car. In 2007, timid upgrades include new rims, Slash Cut mufflers, and subtle alterations to the chain cover, fork legs and passenger footrest mounts.

I'm proud to have owned over fifty motorcycles, thanks to my wife! At nearly sixty, I wanted a Harley, synonymous with the recognition of old bikers with a full life. On a trip to Paris, the Triumph dealership in Pontault Combault "RPM77" entrusted me with an America. This English block just blew me away. Following this experience, I looked for and found a Speed Master that had been involved in an accident in Belgium. Restoration and tuning revealed a super machine. Great looks, great thrust and great noise
My mates are happy to be able to ride it in the group. Love her, she'll love you back! Rating : 4/5 Respond to MAC PATRICK
