presentation of the 955i DAYTONA Centenary Edition 2002
triumph is 100 years old. We've come a long way since the "model 1" with its 2 hp Minerva engine. Today, power peaks at 149 horsepower on the Daytona 955. The factory, which has since moved from Coventry to Hinckley, has chosen the Bonneville and its sports car to celebrate this tumultuous and exciting century.
the Daytona Centenary Edition stands out in many ways. First of all, the superb Aston Green. Then there's the return of the superb single-arm design that the Dayto should never have abandoned. Without being flashy, but rather elegant, the machine is equipped with various carbon parts, such as the mudguard, the inner covers of the fork head and the sides under the fuel tank. Chassis and engine are identical. It's hard to resist the charm of the 3-cylinder, even if the increase in power since the T 595 has caused it to lose some of its mid-range punch. Only 200 examples of this special series were produced.
