presentation of the TIGER 800 XC Special Edition 2014
like many successful Triumph models, the 800 Tiger XC trail bike is now available in a Special Edition version. S.E. models are generally distinguished by a few bonus features and/or a special color scheme. For the Tiger, it's a striking red and black dress. The tubular steel frame and cockpit panels are covered in a particularly exuberant Diablo Red Mat. A superb contrast to the black paintwork, which drowns the bike in a very dark finish with red reflections depending on the angle from which you look at it. Apart from the deco, there are no special parts to report on this Triumph 800 Tiger XC Special Edition 2014.
copiously powered for a medium-displacement trail bike, the Tiger 800 XC can line up some nice stages without dragging itself along, then adopt a muscular riding style on trails where tarmac doesn't exist. Be careful, though, and learn how to handle a 215 kg machine on loose terrain. A life-saving ABS is fitted and can be disconnected if necessary. The Triumph is sure of its mettle and will take on the stones with vigor, thanks to its well-suited chassis: 21" and 17" spoked wheels, aluminum swingarm, high upside-down forks, 308 mm brake discs at the front and 3 unmistakably charming bowls.
