When the Speed Triple arrived in 1994, it already smacked of a roadster with character. The 3-cylinder was there, the taste of café racer in the mouth, the desire to shake things up latent, the imminent affront. Then came the shock of the 1997 T509 version. From roadster to streetfighter, with rogue bits and attributes that would make it famous, intimidating, almost mythical.

From '97 to the present day, the essentials have remained the same: a sporty chassis, derived from the big 955 Daytona, a superb single-arm, a 3-legged chassis full of punch and a hypnotic double optic. Over the years, over the generations, technology has evolved, style has asserted itself and performance has increased. And the Speed continues to stir the emotions.
Triumph offers a special 94 edition, a subtle, nostalgic tribute to 21 years of Speed. The bike features the same colors as the very first Speed. Only black will be available in France - a pity, since Racing Yellow is perfectly suited to the commemorative spirit and temperament of the big Triple.
One color, and a few special features designed for connoisseurs. Like the logos borrowed from the 1994 model year, or the commemorative plaque inlaid on the fuel tank. Another special feature is the black finish on the exhausts and fuel filler cap. The Speed 94 also features a windscreen, engine cowling and seat cover. The equipment is sensible, but Hinckley could have done with something more striking, even disturbing, to celebrate a bike of this stature.

The Speed triple MK1 produced 98 hp from its 885 cm3 engine. The Speed 94 retains this architecture, with a cubic capacity of 1050 cm3 and 135 hp. Both chassis and engine allow you to enjoy yourself and adopt a sporty rhythm to your heart's content. An excellent frame, inverted forks and Brembo brake calipers know how to talk to the road. Gentlemen and hooligans alike, the Speed 94 won't disappoint.
