presentation of the 1050 SPEED TRIPLE Edition Speciale 2013
you can be mean and have refinement. Such is the case with the Speed Triple in its new 2013 "Special Edition" livery. It's not about going out and fighting like a common thug! It's all about standing out from the crowd, and then beating the crap out of those in the nicer neighborhoods. But how? With a series of details and attentions. This 1050 Speed S.E likes to combine colors. Like the blue that covers the entire frame and swingarm. The same hue is used for the edging around the rims and, a delectable sporty touch, a double stripe running from the bow to the stern.
More discreet, black plays hide-and-seek. It can be found frolicking on the muffler covers, fork tees, handlebars and new rear-view mirrors; or more enticing, combining with carbon to take up residence on the sides of the radiator, the battery cover in front of the fuel tank and the sides of the front mudguard.
The finish is refined with new clutch and alternator housings. ABS, an engine cover, a seat cover and a fork head complete the package. The mechanical charm is obvious: the big 3 cylinders know how to distill charm and sensations. And its 135 horsepower are enough to galvanize any rider.
The special edition 1050 Speed Triple will be available in two colors: "matt graphite" with "matt" blue lines, or "Crystal white" with brilliant blue lines. It's also a limited edition, of 100 units only.
